Converts US (RJ11) modem lead to fit BT socket
os:
Not ApplicableThe primary review is correct. If you have a US style RJ11 plug on the end of your modem/equipment cable, then this adapter will allow it to to be used in a BT Socket.
To save on future confusion, the product description should read "Converts a BT style wall socket to a US RJ11 socket", as it says on the product packaging.
Product specification is as ebuyer says
os:
Not ApplicableI think the previous comment maybe confused - this adapter is required if you have a lead with BT plugs at either end, not an RJ11 lead. As it says correctly under the product specification - this has an RJ11 male and a BT Female. for the opposite of this, go to quickcode 57734.
This adapter is useful if you have a lead with BT plugs either end and need to connect this to say a microfilter.
Five stars because the equivalent product costs over twice as much at Maplin for non belkin quality.
This is the common adaptor for connecting RJ11 lead to BT wall socket
os:
Not ApplicableAs of 15 April this is shipping the product as described in reviews of 22 Oct 04 and 24 Jan 05. The Belkin part number on the pack is F8V014.
Maybe best to ignore the product specs page in this instance. Other websites show the same (confusing/misleading) information.
Converts US (RJ11) modem lead to fit BT socket
os:
Not ApplicableJust to clarify, if you have a modem lead with a US (RJ11) plug at either end, this gizmo will hook it up to a BT socket. RJ11 socket one side, BT plug the other. 3cm in length.
Cross ref to QF 57734 Spanish fittings
I had difficulty making my mind up due to a little confusion of descriptions. I therefore bought this 34688 & a 57734 After all they are so cheap that it matters little which one of them is wrong when u r 1500 miles away!! Here is a copy of my review for the qf 57734-
Both previous reviews are absolutely correct & I used them to make my choice thanks - the image link was good. But I still did not know if it would be the right choice for use in Spain.
I confirm that this qf 57734 is what u neeed to plug into the spanish skt and allow items that terminate in a BT plug to fit into it & work.
In my case I had an outside UK bell ringer with a bt plug and needed to connect to a spanish Twin socket and the adapter works perfectly.
