Overview
Product Description
A memory upgrade is typically the easiest and least expensive way to boost your computer's performance. While any time is good to add more memory, there are some scenarios in which adding a memory upgrade makes great sense and can dramatically improve your computer's performance:You've upgraded your operating system (OS).
You've installed memory-intensive software like photo-editing or a 3-D video game.
You work with large files or with three or more programmes at a time.
You've added hardware, such as a new processor or a video card.
You've purchased a new computer that came with too little system memory.
Backed by 25 years of Micron experience and the expertise of Micron's global team of engineers, Crucial is well-established as the memory industry expert. As a division of Micron, one of the world's leading providers of advanced semiconductor solutions, Crucial actually makes the memory they sell, right down to the chips. Other memory sellers might claim to be manufacturers, but the truth is they only assemble the modules from components they purchase from the real chip manufacturers. In fact, Crucial is the only consumer memory upgrade supplier that is part of a major DRAM manufacturer. Crucial has served nearly 3 million consumers just like you looking to get the best possible performance from their computers.
Crucial has a long history of building successful partnerships with all the major computer manufacturers. They even work directly with system and motherboard manufacturers to ensure optimal performance and compatibility.
The world's major computer manufacturers look to Micron as a trusted source for memory for original installation in their systems. They know that Micron's quality and expertise far exceed industry standards. Crucial brings this same level of quality and customer service to you.

Stable RAM
operating system:
Windows XPI have 2x of these & have not had a problem with crashing or getting the Blue Screen of Death since I have used Crucial Ram. This RAM is Fast & very stable & can be overclocked quite well.
Get some, you wont regret it.
Quality RAM
operating system:
Not ApplicableIf your after memory that's flawless in every detail then paying that extra liitle bit for some crucial RAM is worth it.
I have two systems running on crucial RAM 1 with 512 MB PC2100 and 1 with 1024 MB PC2700, neither system has ever - and I mean as in never had any memory related problems.
Would I buy memory from another manufacturer ? Nope
Quality...
operating system:
Not ApplicableI was going to buy generic but having used crucial ram before, and never ever having had any trouble with it, I thought it would be worth the extra cost.
I wasn't wrong this stuff runs at CAS 2 2-2 rock solid on an ASUS A7V8X & XP2400.
Dont bother with generic this stuff is faultless & definitely worth that little bit extra.
Crucial RAM
operating system:
Not ApplicableGood fast RAM, what else to say?...
Great RAM
operating system:
Windows XPHaving built a number of PCs I have found that crucial RAM has given me 0 problems. Which is more than can be said for the cheap unbranded ram which if it works first time usually lasts around 2 months before falling over. Just a little tip for all PC builders of the many problems I have found when building machines, 8 out of 10 have been something to do with the RAM.
what is the fuss
It is good stuff, no doubt. It costs the same from Crucial though.
Crucial Ram
operating system:
Not ApplicableI put 2 of these into my system on a MSI 746F ULTRA L motherboard and it runs perfectly. I might just buy another one to fill the empty ram slot on my board, its that good, and with a lifetime warranty its worth that little extra compared to generic.
BRILLIANT!!
operating system:
Windows XPThis is top notch RAM. Pay the extra and get this stuff, you wont be dissappointed.
BRILL
operating system:
Windows XPI have two of these in my computer and OH MY GOD the diffrence in performance is shocking........ i was on 2 X seamans 256 PC266 modules and this makes all the diffrence.
By IT NOW
Very Good Ram
operating system:
Windows 2000Bought this to replace my old 384 meg PC133 ram which was giving me a bit of trouble.
Noticed the speed difference almost instantly.
Was going to buy unbranded, but i think for a little bit extra its worth it for the warrenty, cos ram can get dodgy.
has no probs running at 333mhz
