Works a dream, can't fault it, it's what you'd expect from a quality manufacturer like Crucial

Amazingly good

I had 256 of RAM before but I was using another brand. When I bought one of those and added it to my system it became very instable. I decided to buy another one of those and have 2x256 of these and get rid of the old one. Now the system is really stable and it makes a big difference. I'm very pleased with CRUCIAL. One advice: don't mix RAM with different brands.

Don't buy the cheaper unbranded stuff: pay the extra £5 or whatever and enjoy *working*, reliable and fast RAM!

Won't do 400 FSB!

But perfectly stable at a stunning 392 FSB with 7,2,2,2.5 timings. This gives my XP2500 Bart 2.16 Ghz at 11x multiplier on A7N8X del mobo. That's an "XP3200" to you! I get 17000+ with 3DMark2001 using 9700pro gfx. At this price I'm no longer worried that my budget didn't extend to HX3200 or TWNX3200 I originaly wanted.

Super reliable

Crucial guarantee compatibilty with your Motherboard if you use their web-based RAM chooser which is found both here on the Ebuyer site and at Crucial's UK website. If ordered from Crucial it usually arrives next day with no postage costs.

Generic/Ebuyer RAM almosts costs the same so why risk buying sticks that are palpably inferior and less reliable in order to save a few £s?

Amazing Ram

I build PC's and work with computer systems for a living and will never buy anything else except crucial ram. These 256mb sticks work magic in the Asus A7N8X nForce 2 boards, when using two sticks it also takes advantage of the ramsync ability built into nForce 2 motherboards!

Gets 5/5 for me, never had one gone wrong, extremly stable and a high performer.

For the difference in price to cheap and cheerful this is a must purchase. Most PC faults occur with the RAM going belly up!
