Not ApplicableThis is the correct cable for connecting the DVI output from your graphics card to the DVI input of your flat screen monitor. The only thing that threw me was the fact that both ends of the connector are male but this seems to be standard for all types of monitor cable VGA included.
Look at the Belkin website and you'll see a better view of the pin layout for each of the DVI cables they do. The important bit of the manufacturers part# is the -DD suffix, this denotes DVI-D to DVI-D connection with dual channel.
If you are interested the single channel cable has less pins in the main block ('cause it has less bandwidth) and there are also DVI-A and DVI-I connectors which are for an analogue only and itegrated (analogue or digital) respectively. But most people just need the DVI-D (digital only) connector.
Plugged it in and it worked, 5 stars.
Yes it does for me
os:
Windows XPThis cable is a double link DVI graphic card to DVI TFT panel cable and it works great with my GeForce MSI FX5700 and 19” Viewsonic TFT. However I can’t tell if there is any improvement over using the single link one apart from being thicker due to the extra wires. If you go to the Belkin site/Wizard (do not use the link provided by Ebuyer for checking which cable to use as this is limited to only a few examples). You will find the following listed.
F2E4141B10-SD is the single link and F2E4141B10-DD is the double link.

Windows XPThis F2E4141b10-DD is exactly the same cable as F2E4141ea10-DD. The difference being the former is sold just in a sealed plastic bag and the latter is in a retail blister pack. The biggest difference is the price as go to PC World for the blister packaged version and you'll be stung for a whopping £49.95. A huge difference in price and no wonder PC World had so many left on the shelf!
As for the performance. The DVI cable certainly gives far superior perfomance over the VGA cables supplied with most flat panels. You can see how much quality is lost by the graphics card converting the signal to analog to pass through the VGA cable and then back to digital by the flat panel monitor. As the signal through the DVI cable is digital then there's no need to tweek the setup of the flat panel. Much simpler.
As for the need for the dual data facility you will find by looking at the pin assignments that mostflat panels only require the single data cable. However more flat panels are coming along with dual data, so for the small extra for the dual data you've omitted the need for another cable in the future.
For this price with quality from a known manufacturer you just can't go wrong.
Perfect!
Got this cable to link my 19inch wide screen TFT to my Nvidia 8600 GTS SLI cards, has made a big difference over the VGA in terms of colour definition, sharpnes, & clarity of image. Overall a great buy, highly recommended.
Perfect

Windows XPI bought this cable to work with my new LG L1730B TFT (its a bit annoying I didnt get the cable with my tft but nevermind)
I have hooked this up to my Radeon 9800Pro and it works absolutely fine. Image quality is clear although I can't say the differences between that and the VGA input are massive.
If you've got a TFT and want to use DVI then get this cable it does the job perfectly.
Great

Windows XPVery thick cable (especially for the money) good connectors and long enougth to wrap around the most cluttered desk.
Very sharp image on a 225bw, would be awesome on a high end dell etc
Good cable, a big saving

Windows VistaUsually this will cost you £20-25 from where I work which is PC World. Been using it for a few months and it works fine. Nothing much else to say really as it's a cable lol. I have no ghosting or distortion which some other reviews say on this cable soooo i'm pleased, good job ebuyer
Good quality cable

Windows XPconnects from my X1900XTX to Samsung panel
I was using normal D-sub/VGA cable (my panel has both) and switched to DVI, ghosting was minimised greatly.
Very thick cable and hence quite stiff to orientate, 3 metres is very long, but for 10quid its cheap.
It works

Windows XPIts a cable, it works as cables are designed to. It gives me thrills knowing that its !dual link! which probably doesn't make a different, but thought I may as well :)
Nothing else to say really, buy it, plug it in and enjoy DVI goodness! Can't say I really notice much difference from VGA. Was getting a new monitor so thought I may as well move up a notch!
Quite a thick cable but not a problem, the screws that go into your graphics card / monitor are a bit small as an above reviewer claimed, but I didn't have any problem securing them properly. I'll deduct a star for this, it's a kinda basic thing the designers should have easily got right.
Appears to do the job well!

Windows XPUsed this for a few weeks, with a new graphics card (MSI nVIDIA GeForce FX5200) and new 19 inch Fujitsu Siemens TFT monitor, and the whole package works a treat!
