FREEDOM AND QUALITY
os:
Windows XPYOu know straight away when you've chosen the right product. When I slipped this into my sony vaio pcg-grv616g notebook I knew then. I am connected to my router in my home always at the excellent strength level (the top one). The software and drivers go on straight away with no fuss. The instructions are complete, easy, clear and precise.
The only quibble I would have is that it does stick out from the side more than I would like. But I chose it for the technology and strength. The sony one (which I have since seen) is L shaped discreet, but for my money I'll sacrifice looks for a super-reliable signal and build quality any day.
Want top quality, reliable and trouble free pcmcia wifi card? BUY THIS PRODUCT. YOu won't regret it - ever.
Excellent card
os:
Windows XPVery fast card working with D-Link DI-624. Needed to play around with channel numbers to get the strongest signal. The D-Link control panel is far easier to use than the default XP wireless connection wizard. Use the latest driver/panel software from www.dlink.com to get full 802.11g standard.
Worked Straight Out The Box!

Windows XPGreat card, had no problems with it so far, and it worked straight out the box.
Signal is excellent - I get faultless network and internet connection even in the garden.
Top Purchase!
It just WORKS!

Not ApplicableInstall the the software (do this first by the way), then plugged in the card...
It connected straight away to the D-Link Wireless Broadband Router that I had only just previously installed and switched on 2 minutes earlier...
Very nice piece of kit... like a couple of people have said before... you just know its quality...
802.11g with linux

LinuxWorks fine with my portege 3440ct a linksys wrt54g and the madwifi atheros drivers. :-)
Bit of setting up required and doesn't like the G only mode from the linksys router (Although that works fine in Windows).
All in all a good product that works. no reception problems either
Linux suport

LinuxI have bought this card for a linux (Fedora Core 7) laptop. It works great with the madwifi drivers from the Livna repository. Had no problems so far, using wpa_supplicant for wpa and all is fine. The card I recieved was using hardware revision C4 and firmware revision 4.31.
Damn good card, im very happy with it.
For a list of cards supported for linux (for those that are interested) by madwifi, check this link out:

Hope this helps someone!
Great Quality, Great Price!

Windows XPIt is definetely easy to install to the computer and it works well. It's a value thing with the best quality! Look at the D-Link website (USA), you then know it can be upgraded to 108Mbps!
Amazed.... and Astounded!

Windows XPI installed the software for this card, put the card in and was up and running in seconds! I will be recommending this to my friend who wants to do a wireless network!
Excellant product. 5* * * * *

Windows XPI brought this a year after buying my D-Link 624+ Network Hub as a wireless card for the laptop came with it. The card i had kept disconecting from from the hub irratically and thought enough was enough.. came across this on the website and thinking best off having a D-link adapter to go with the D-Link hub and i believe me in over 1 week not one disconnection issue since i installed... Excellant product all i can say is buy one of these if you go wireless :D
fantastic...

Windows XPTook all of 5 minutes to install and works perfectly. Even gets a much better signal round the house than my housemates very expensive "all singing all dancing" dell laptop. hehe
