Fantastic value soundcard. Easy to install and setup with stable drivers. Tested okay with win98SE and winXP. Great for an old PC upgrade job. Sound good for price. Definitely five out of five stars.

I had been having major headaches with my on board sound... so I thought about replacing it with a PCI sound card. I didn't want to spend a fortune on a top quality sound card incase the problem was the speakers!!!! I bought this as an temp to test the system out and am so impressed with it I'm gonna keep it. For £3.52 its great value for money and the sound is above average.. Would recommend this to people who don't want to spend loads of money on soundcards.

Very cheap, works, easy to install, gives an alright sound as long as you don't want anything superb (but would you be buying a £4 soundcard if you wanted that?)

Absolutely superb product, comes in a cello-sealed colourful retail box. I have sold hundreds, and had no faulty items or problems at all.

For £3.50 or so, you cannot go wrong. It seems that one or two people with little computer knowledge have bought these and had problems, but I can assure potential buyers that they work, and they look great in their boxes, so don't hesitate!

great sound card for less than £4. had no problems installing the card. windows does not auto install sound card drivers for this card but its no hassle to pop the cd in that comes with the card. ive so far had no compatability issues and gives good quality sound. great if you listen to alot of music through your computer and want an affordable sound solution

Conflicts with XP Pro?
review by: Adam Bacchus os: Windows XP

In case you're running XP Pro and are put off by reviews stating boot up and conflict problems, just like to say, I have no problems running this card and driver under XP Pro.
I suggest you try it out, if it does work you won't be dissapointed.

=================================================

I am running

PC Chips Mobo (can't remember its name, but it costs around £13 from Ebuyer)

Mercury GeForce4 128mb W/TV out

Medion TV card (from Aldi [this tends to cause problems with XP & 98se, but does not affect this sound card])

AMD XP2500

Please buy this souncard, it's excellent

Linux supports this chipset well. I put one in an old P133 box, and got much better audio performance. (gnomemeeting, xmms etc. work well)
