Amazing Value

LinuxI bought this card with some trepidation; just what can you expect for £4.69?
Well, if you want true Hi-Fi sound, forget it, but lets face it, if your using a power machine running leading edge games, your unlikely to pair it with a card like this.
However, for most computer users, this card is more than adequate. Separate channels for front, rear and center speakers, provide a good balance of sound, at a reasonable quality.
I bought the card for installation in an experimental Linux machine (RedHat 7.3) and it installed faultlessly with the existing drivers already within the system.
So in conclusion, if you want a sound card for a low/medium end machine, look no further. It is unlikely you will beat this for value for money!

Windows 98What amazing value for money. Installed in Windows XP without a problem. Audio Rack software very effective and easy to use. I still can't believe it's less than a fiver!! Works a dream with my Videologic ZXR-500 speakers. BUY IT!!

only slightly disapointed not to have a spdif socket, holes but no pins, But you cant go wrong.
Great Card @ Bargain Price

Windows XPPlug it in, use the supplied drivers and works perfectly under XP. Good Sound quality with 3 sound out mini jacks for front, rear and subwoofer. Couldnt fault it for the price.

Excellent card for the money

After having trouble with the onbord sound( low volume,low quality mic) this card was a blessing. Powerfull volume, using regular headset, even if you can`t compare it with a Creative 5.1 it does the job at a fraction of the price.
Bought 13 of these.
Recommended.

Windows XPI bought this card thinking, "It can't be up to much!", but man was I ever wrong. Cracking sound, Easy installation, what more can you ask for for less than a fiver? My advice? BUY BUY BUY !
