Very Nice Indeed

Windows XPI've not had any problems with Plug an Play, plugged it into my laptop and it installed straight away without any drivers needed.
Build qualtiy is very good, a nice metal casing with very good finishing, overall the styling and build quality is better than the sony one (which my friend has)
Good piece of kit though expensive

Windows VistaAt a little under £25 this should be a good piece of equipment, and fortunately it is - robust, solid metal case, and very slim so fits into the accessories pouch of the laptop case. The USB cable is permanently attached to the drive. Installed under Vista (Home Premium) without any problems, though Vista stupidly first spent an age searching the Internet for a driver before giving up and asking for the installation disc. Discs load with a positive action and it had no trouble reading the few I have tried it on. Five stars for quality; I guess the price reflects obsolete technology.
