Windows MEAs my PC is about 3.5 meters from the phone jack I decided to buy this. I was informed by a few people that it would not work due to the distance, I still gave it a go and it works perfectly. It is a bit chunky but if laid well its OK. Good buy and great service from ebuyer.

Windows XPTHIS CABLE ON THE HIGH ST IS OVER £15! A COMPLETE RIP OFF. IT COMES IN FULL RETAIL PACKAGING AS YOU WOULD BY IT FROM THAT VERY WELL KNOWN HIGH ST STORE AT A FRACTION OF THE COST FROM EBUYER. NO SPEED INCREASE, HOWEVER IT HAS STABILISED MY CONNECTION SPEED! EXCELLENT VALUE FOR MONEY FROM EBUYER AGAIN!!!!
Broadband connection

Windows XPWhen I got my broadband Internet installed it came with a short thin RJ11 lead that wasn't up to much. I needed a longer lead to run around to the phone socket and saw this. This cable is really good. Solidly made, thick and does its job perfectly. This is ideal as my other cable was really flimsy - non of that with this one tho!
The only downside is because it is so strong it takes a bit of straightening out after being wound up in the packaging. Other than this it is a great product - 5/5
OK but not that great

Windows XPPurchased one of these as the standard 3 mtr ADSL cable that came with my modem wasnt quite long enough. Taking this modem cable out of its packaging its clear to see this is of the "Usual Belkin Standard" ie: Extremely good quality
I have to be honest though & found that the thickness of the cable was way over the top, its more like a steel rope than a modem cable, the RJ11 connectors are also of a high build quality but having said this the cable is very cumbersome & wont tuck out of the way like a regular modem lead.
With regards the performance over standard modem leads (as stated on the ebuyer description): Faster than a speeding bullet; more durable than a normal phone cable; able to get you a faster Internet connection; it's the Belkin High Speed Internet Modem cable. transmits 10 times faster than any normal telephone cable for a clean, and clear transmission.
NOT TRUE... On my ADSL connection & after a number of benchmarks I found no increase in performance whatsoever & on some occasions even found a slight decrease in bandwidth.
All in all a good quality, very well made lead but forget the hype about the performance increase using this product.
