Look nice

Not ApplicableThese cathodes make the interior of the case look great - they give off a bright glow and are well worth the few pounds that they cost.
They far out perform my brothers cathodes that cost 3 times as much!! A bit more pink than red, but then again I can be a bit of a perfectionist :)
2 different kinds?
os:
Windows XPI think there are different kinds of these cathodes that Ebuyer are sending out. Mine were exactly as another person expected his to be - coloured cathode tubes (red) within clear plastic tubes. And mine are definitely red rather than pink. They are not too bright though, certainly duller than the blue one I got with the case, but that was what I wanted, as they are on all the time to give a general red glow to my case, and the bright blue one I have sound-activated.
Certainly for the price, I am very happy with these red cathodes. Infact, as I bought them in an order by themselves, the postage doubled their cost, and I *still* think they were a bargain!
It seems hit and miss as to whether you get these true red tubes or the striped ones mentioned elsewhere though.
A good design

Windows XPDespite my fears I received two very red cathodes, not a trace of pink in the light (maybe a slight orange hue). They were sturdy (well as sturdy as a foot long glass cylinder can be!) and came with a silent inverter, switch, pass-through power cable and pads to fix them to the case. It's a really well made bundle and a snip at under £3!
Great Value

Windows XPI received these today, fitted them in about 15 mins, they look real cool!
You get:
Pair of coloured 12" tubes
Inverter (silent)
Round on/off switch (black)
Sticky pads
You need to drill a rather large hole somewhere in your case to fit the switch, I drilled mine in the centre of a spare 3.5" blanking cover, as my case is black the switch doesn't look out of place.
Overall this is an excellent product and a very cheap way of modding your case.
Not red, but pink

Windows XPI love these things...they came a day early to add to things...I did not know when I ordered them that they could be sound activated (something you should advertise ebuyer) they are absolutely brilliant and are very bright. The only very slight annoyance is that they are not as red as the display picture states. This has got to be the best shop I have shopped at. And theres plenty more to do...Thanks ebuyer.
Bright yet cheap

Not ApplicableAs the previous reviews mentioned, these lights are slightly pink, but only at the edge of the lights reach. I've seen better but only at 5 times the cost of these. For the price of one excellent light, you can buy about six of these and light a bedroom :P. Ignore the little things, these are worth about £10 and they are selling for £3.79. Get them you won't be sorry for good cheap case lighting
hmm..

Windows XPwell my colour is more red than pink so im thankful for that.. good price also
A nice product, at a very nice price...

Windows XPI ordered these in the early hours of the morning and the word "dual" didn't register in my head... so I ended up ordering two sets... *lol*. I'm glad I did now though, because they're not very bright...
Despite the fear of recieving a set of pink cathodes, they arrived just as expected. They give off a nice red glow, all the way to the ends of the tubes.
A nice product, at a very nice price...
And we all know that red makes things go faster don't we ;-) ...
Work well for me

Not ApplicableThey give out a nice red light, (people should note that all cold cathodes take a few minutes to reach maximum light intensity which is about double that of when you first switch them on)
Mine aren't pink at all and I think mine have red stripes down the tubes.
Simple and cheap, but professional look.

Not ApplicableI've recently added these two inside my computer one being on the bottom and the other the underside of the top of my case and they give a red aura all over the motherboard, well balanced and great looking.
I found the power swithes are also perfect side for a pci slot on the back of the case two, they have to be threaded from the outside, so fit before you connect it to the inverter and they clip in rather securly and cant be pushed through.
Also got a uv cathode in the case too to pick up the uv wrap-tags which gives a nice purple hue where the cathode itself is but doesn't effect the red glow across the rest of the case but still makes the fluorescent and white areas react nicely. Adding 2x red uv reactive fans too when they show up.
