This is a great fan. It comes with a standard four-pin power connector (both male and female), three pin motherboard power header, and a three pin motherboard speed header. I can't use the first header because my motherboard has temperature-controlled fan speed so I use the four-pin connector and the speed header. Excellent. Only problem was I couldn't figure out how to use the screws so just used some ones I had lying around.
The fan itself is very quite and very effective, much better than the cheapy fans that you can get.

Quiet and seems to be keeping my PC nice and cool. One word of advice though, the screws that come with it (as someone else said) are a little special.

Basically, I think they are self tapping style screws, when you get the fan it doesn't have any thread on the screw holes. When you bolt it to the case you need to hold on to it, and the screws will make the thread in the plastic. This should be no problem to remove and reuse at a later date.

I haven't been using the temp sensor because both my motherboards sockets for monitoring are in use.

I just took delivery of 4 of these intending to cool down my case without making too much noise. They seem very well made and the connectors are well thought out.

Unfortunately the thermal control only works if the connector is plugged into the motherboard, and I have only one connector!

The other three are running at full tilt all the time and while not noisy do create a definite hum.

On the plus side my 2400+ is running at 45C not 65C!

A good fan worth buying - well made, 3 different connection options (i just took off the adapter though and plugged it straight into my motherboard) The screws are definately not a problem all you need is a sturdy phillips screw driver and self tap the screws sraight into the holes - do this on your desk or floor before attaching it to the case, then unscrew the screws and re-screw onto the fan through the case, you will find this method a lot easier than trying to tap the screws at the same time as fixing to the case.

I just set it up and it only seems to have dropped my comp temp down to 44C wheras it was on 49C so not much of a drop but then i dont think i had a hot system to start with!

Noisy

I bought a pair of these a while back. They work so can't RMA them but they are so horribly noisy that they are sitting in a corner. I got a high pitched intrusive whine. I got some Acasa 8cm ambers over the counter cheaper and quiter!
