Outstanding performance!
os:
Windows XPI bought one of these to replace 4 80mm fans in my case which i found totally ineffective. After about 20 minutes of work to convert the 4 x 80mm fan bay to a 1 x 120mm fan bay i slotted this in, powered it up and waited for the results.
A lot of the other reviews said it is noisey... It's certainly not quiet, but the noise appears to be the actual *whoosh* sound from the airflow rather than a rattling from the fan. All in all, one of these is slightly quieter than 4 standard 50p 80mm fans.Oh, and performance is amazing. The old fans gave a slight breeze; this thing chucks a hurricaine through the case. You can actually feel the air blowing right to the back of the case.
My temps are as follows: (Athlon 2400 overclocked to 200 x 11 on a Gigabyte board)
Idle: Old Case temp - 38 Old Cpu temp - 52
New case temp - 29 New Cpu temp - 44
Load: Old case temp - 39 Old Cpu temp - 61
New case temp - 30 New Cpu temp - 53
And this in a mini-heatwave in august!
Noise reduction
I have found that reducing the fan speed to 1,000 RPM (I used a facility built into my MoBo) and making sure there is nothing near the blades (ie spacing it away from the grill/case) has made this fan much quieter. I think this is due to less turbulence which also improves air flow and remarkably reduced my motherboard temprature 2 degrees. I recon it is still shifting more air than an 80mm fan at full chat, but without the noise. It has improved my opinion of this product no end
HURRICANE FORCE!

Windows XPWOW!
Yes, its big, yes its a heffer makes a fair bit of noise, but for a desktop that sits on the floor, its not bad at all (plus i have my radio on next to it so i cant really hear at all!)...
It also took my asus a7n8x-e deluxe mobo down from 29 to an easy 20 degrees, and even cooled my xp3200+ cpu by 4 degrees.
Works great.

Windows XPVery silent and I can't usually here it running.
Keeps my chassis temp under 35c and 8800 at 45-48 when it's idle.
They will take a good hour or so to install but than can solved with the fan kits.
Recommended to anyone whats a quite system.
pretty loud vs 79CFM

Not Applicablebought this as my second fan for my antec slk 3700bqe, which was pretty quite with just the one 120mm fan at the rear. it is now significantly louder.
when the screen was powered down and the pc was on the kids used to try and switch it on again as they though it was off because it was that quite.....not any more.
has dropped 5c off my cpu temp which makes it worth the noise,
watch the supplied screws. they didnt fit the holes of the fan, and the antec fitting instructions dont mention what the screws are for!? had to use some screws that came with the case.
maybe just me,
very good high quality fan, but too loud for my liking
Good But ............... LOUD!
os:
Not ApplicableThis is a very good fan - it circulates air in pretty much all forward directions, however, it is incredibly loud. - i did a little bit of a mess up when buying this fan - needed to buy a rare 100mm fan - but had an intersting time moving things around within the pc. so instead i used cable ties, crude, but very effective.
I would recomend getting this product for business use, but not to put into your computer that runs in your bedroom bcus it will keep you up.
It lowered my athlon xp 2200+ processer temperature from a scary 65C to a constant 53C so alike another review - damn noisy - but worth it.
7v
os:
Not ApplicableI ran the fans at 7 volts insted of the normal 12. Instructions of how to 7volt mod your fans can be found here: http://www.bleedinedge.com/guides/7volt_mod/7volt_fan_mod.html
Read the warnings!
Unfortunatly i had to give these fans 4 stars since they do seem to be ever so slightly off balance leading to a slight vibration. You cant beat the price for a 120mm ball bearing fan tho.
CFM
The spec provided by ebuyer is wrong:
Volumetric Airflow 34 CFM
Fan Speed 2,600 rpm
Acoustic Noise 30 dBA
They have quoted the 80mm version by mistake.
The real spec for the 120mm model is:
Volumetric Airflow 79 CFM
Fan Speed 2,000 rpm
Acoustic Noise 29.8 dBA
As quoted from http://www.antec.com/us/productDetails.php?ProdID=75003
that pic
ok i know its not for the fan, but in that pic, WHAT CASE IS THAT? i want one. get them please ebuyer.
Screws
Oh and in response to kevins problem with the screws, they are self tapping screws that are provided with the fans (at least the ones i got) this means that the screws are bigger than the holes in the fan and when you screw them in it creates a tread in the plastic, worked fine for me.
