Excellent product
operating system:
Windows 98Excellent product, it does exactly what it says it does.
Very robust and sturdy, works well with my TFT monitor.
Actual product is slightly different from the one pictured – Black case and the thumb-screws are much thinner.
Easy to attach, although needed a screw driver to tighten the screws into the DVI port.

Does the job!
operating system:
Windows XPAs stated in the other comment, its a DVI-VGA adapter - no drivers, no hassle, just plug in and go. Belkin have gone one step further with their model and put easy to use thumb screws on - make a world of difference compared to other models, especially if your short on monitor cable and u need all the screw length you can get to insure a secure fit.
Job done, and no picture quality issues either. 5 star.
Works excellent, but pins too short for comfort
operating system:
Windows VistaA VGA to DVI adapter, plug in between the VGA cable from the monitor or projector and the DVI-I port on the computer, and the Windows takes care of the rest.
Tested the adapter with a VGA CRT, resolution set to 1600x1200 at 32bit colour, and found the type was crisp and readable.
What spoiled my enjoyment is that the pins only grip half a millimetre or so, which means that you knock the thing out far too easily. There are no lugs on my notebook to screw the adapter into.
The adapter is rugged, in a stylish light and dark grey colour scheme. Highly recommended, but check that your DVI socket is 'proud' from the casing or that you have lugs to fix the adapter.
Good Quality Adaptor, but some hobbycraft needed!
operating system:
Windows XPAs noted before, the adaptor shown in the picture is not the same as what you will recieve. I assume Belkin must have updated the design of this product as it come in a rather snazzy looking Black & Orange rubber moulded casing. No issues with picture quality, and adaptor performs as you would expect.
My only issue is the thumbscrews. I found that, due to the design of the casing, I had to cut away some of the rubber moulding to allow my fingers to get some purchase in order to tighten them up to any useful degree. There is no risk of cutting away any wires as I found that the rubber houses a hard plastic case, which is the true housing. Once I'd cut away some of the rubber i was able to screw in the adaptor without any problems.
I would have given this device 5 stars, but have knocked one off due to the mutilation that is required to use the thumbscrews.
