Encer 500W
os:
Not ApplicableI recieved an Encer 500W PSU and I actually had to get down and check that the fan was working becuase it was so quiet!
Has a nice Gold fan gaurd rather than just cut metal so allows for more air flow.
Outputs are:
+3.3v - 28A
+5v - 40A
+12v - 17A
-12v - 0.8A
-5v - 0.5A
+5vSB - 2.0A
Has a variety of power plugs inc 4 pin 12v plug and 6pin flat plug for 3.3v and 5v
A surprising power pack for the price
os:
Not ApplicableThe power pack that I recieved was a Magna power pack. These are used by several leading computer manufacturers so don't be fooled by the price.
As with other reviewers I would tend to agree that this provides adequate power for most systems unless you are running some kind of advanced server.
I have in the past tended to steer away from Ebuyer extra value but this one is well worth the meagre amount of dosh!! Well done once again Ebuyer!!
Ebuyer 500w Atx Power Supply

Windows XPI bought a new case and wanted a good psu and got it.You can NOT hear the thing I have to look to see if it is working it is that quiet.
If you are looking for a new psu then please buy this one, you will not be dissapointed.
As for connections eat your heart out british rail.
Not bad at all!

Windows XPI ordered this PSU in Oct 2004 and received an Encer branded 500W PSU. My old 300W PSU blew up!
1. When touching PSU, it is "cool" to the touch. Even the air outtake is cool.
2. As for noise, I can't hear it. I must admit that my CPU Cooler (CoolerMaster) is noiser then the PSU's fan.
3. Has a 240V-120V switch
4. You might want to get hold of a few cable ties, as you don't want the PSU wires to get into the CPU fan or block air intakes etc..
5. No complaints, happy with it!
Does what it says on the tin

Windows XPBrilliant so far, bought one of these a month ago & it's been running 24/7 completely stable.
Runs
5case fans
nvidia 6600gt

Excellent Deal

Windows XPI purchased two 500w Ebuyer value units two years ago which have been happily running two heavily modded PCs equipped with mutiple PCI cards and LEDs. They are still going strong and outputs remain stable. My third unit is running a PC with an AMD dual core processor and Abit AV8 third eye mobo - which is notoriously picky about power supplies. Again outputs are stable and right on the money. These units are excellent value!
Fantastic PSU

Windows XPJust bought this to replace an existing 300W PSU. Branded by 'Magma' this 500W PSU is incredible, nice and easy to fit, with all the necessary connectors and also very very quiet!
Five out of five!
top stuff

Good Product

Not ApplicableGot mine yesterday, replaced my 300w PSU which got damaged during the recent thunderstorms!
Installed and tried it without any problems, looks good too. The grill covering the fan is gold!
Happy to see a master power switch on the unit as well.
All-round value for money!
Good PSU

Windows XPThis is brilliant PSU for the money, I was initially concerned about it being a single fan PSU but no worries there. I didn't get a Magna one, mine was a Enger one, who I know to be a reputable make having had their PSU's before. It is quiet and doesn't get to hot despite only having a single fan, and runs fine in my 2 hdd, CDRW and seperate DVD system with a cathode and 2 case fans. So this is a highly recomended product indeed. Well done Ebuyer!
