GREAT!!
review by: Anonymous os: Windows XP

this thing is really good i have always used Crucial because they are reliable and it is really fast and it plays games realy well p.s do not get corsair its rubbish it dosnt play games well but it is faster!! but when your playing oblivion the corsair memory wont let it work unless you disalbe the sound and then it works but no sound but when i put crucial in it it work fine!!

Good RAM

Nothing spectacular, apart from when I got it, I bought it for £55.95. I have come back to buy another 1GB and found the price has been hiked to £91 inc VAT. So for getting it as cheap as I did, It's great RAM! For the price it is now.. I'm not so sure.

No problems with it whatsoever, it does exactly what it says on the tin, I don't overclock as I don't want to mess with voltages of RAM etc, so on that front I cannot say if it's good or bad. Overall great RAM

That was phunny!

Anyway, Corsair and Crucial are both roughly the same. It is like saying...
Who does better cards, ATI or nVidia?
Errr... no comment.

Although my MB can support 8500 ram i opted for this little number and i must say im shocked at how good it is, all for under 15 papers too!! If the price is this low i think i might have to come back and get some more =)

only shows up as 512MB on VIA C7 mini-itx system

os: Not Applicable

I bought this for a Jetway J7F4K mini-itx system on the advice of the crucial memory selector tool. Big mistake. It only shows up as 512MB. I upgraded the BIOS to the latest version (A07, released 6th. July) and still the same problem.

It got through memtest86+ just fine, so I'm not giving it a totally low rating - but BE WARNED. Just go for a 512MB stick if in doubt, save a few bob.

mr anon you are a baffoon
review by: Anonymous os: Windows XP

mr anonymous you sound like a 12 year old. how can ram affect your sound! baffoon! corsair is extremely good branded memory. crucial is also very good but as the price point indicates not as good as corsair. corsair, like stella, is reassuringly expensive. The fact that when using corsair ram a game you were playing slowed down probably has nothing to do with your ram. consider yourself flamed for posting a duff review!
