Update - 2 x Sticks, Socket 754 A64
review by: Stephen Emeryrating:

os: Windows XP

I've added another stick of this to my system making 2 installed in total; by default the AOpen AK86 motherboard sets the speeds at 333MHz (3-3-3-7 timings) and its rock solid; when I manually set the clock to 400MHz (3-3-3-8 timings, like with a single stick) its fine in Windows, but locks up during a benchmark of 3D Mark 05. This is not a problem with the ram, its a limitation of the single channel socket 754 Athlon64 CPU; AMD specify that two or more sticks should be run at 333MHz on this platform, and AOpen default to this on the motherboard (AK86L/VIA K8T800 chipset). BUT going to 2GB in total has improved play in Battlefield 2 which is always peaking at 1.3GB or above; no disk-thrashing now! Full marks for a quality item.

Good on an AOpen S754 mobo

Works well on my S754 A64 3200+ system replacing a 512MB stick; timings are 3-3-3-8 at DDR400. Note that the S754 systems will run 2 or more sticks at DDR333 maximum; best performance is from one stick or move to S939 dual channel.

2 of these in dual - no problem
review by: Louise Oliver os: Windows XP

So i bought second pair, two weeks later after first one, and it works well - no problem at all - in dual channel on Socket939 motherboard (Asus A8N-VM CSM, nVidia nForce 430 chipset). I can tell, that there is little bit difference in speed now in games then with just one pair. You also feel, that you have 1600MB of memory free all the time, instead of 600MB, and it feels really great.

Bought 2 of these, put them in my Asus A8N-SLI (NForce4), dual channel mode, and set them manually to the fast 2.5-3-3-7. Rock stable! Well done, Corsair!

just received ram card today. Installed in 5 min, and computer is now running a lot quicker. If you are fed up seeing that annoying egg timer and you are only running 256mb or 512mb ram(check by going to control panel then system) then buy one of these and keep your other ram too (Most motherboards allow 2 or more ram cards).
If you are like me and do a lot of multi-tasking (burning, downloading, gaming) then this item is a must.

(Going to buy another 1gb asap)

Well 2 of these were got with an Asus A8N-E mobo and 3700+ amd 64 (San diago) and a 7900GT extreme gpu. Put in the Asus board and worked perfect for twin banked mode, 2gig of memory working very hard and very stable.

Great service from Ebuyer as usual, memory received the next day.
Bought 2 sticks both work fine and really speed up loading on games and allow higher game settings.
They are compatible with my NForce2 main board. Already had to return some high density RAM as my board would not recognise it but this stuff worked straight away.
Recommended, especially if you have an older MB.

I stuck this into my new Asus T2 AE1, no problems at all, works well, very stable. no crashes or any drama at all.

I coupled this with an AMD Sempron 3000+ CPU, all works fine.

Fine memory
review by: Louise Oliver os: Windows XP

This memory is so good (for its price), that i hope, that eBuyer will have more of it in stock, because i would like to buy another one in order to have pair = 2GB. It works, it is cheap and it is in stock, what else would you want? Not for overclocking, no compatibility issues (i have WinXP64), it is fine.
