Overview

Product Description

240-pin DIMMs are used to provide DDR2 SDRAM memory for desktop computers. This 512mb 533Mhz PC2-4200 240-pin DIMM provides a 64-bit data path (72-bit for ECC or registered modules), so they are installed singly in 64-bit systems. Most DDR2 chipsets are expected to support dual-channel memory, effectively providing a 128-bit data path.
To use DDR2 memory, your system motherboard must have 240-pin DIMM slots and a DDR2-enabled chipset. DDR2 modules use a 1.8V power supply, providing a big power saving over the 2.5V DDR modules. The number of black components on a 240-pin DIMM may vary, but they always have 120 pins on the front and 120 pins on the back.

Excellent

Bought 2 of these for a new PC I have just built, does exactly what it says on the packet, worked fine on our Pentium 4 (3.2 Ghz) system when I installed them, and we havent had any problems yet and our system gets a lot of abuse when we go out on the road as it is thrown into the back of transits and mistreated by our road crew.

Dont let the person with the Dell put you off, Dells are s**t, and he/she sounds like a complete an utter idiot. They worked fine for me, and for this price, you cant go wrong.

These do the same job as any of the more expensive memory modules, so they get five stars from us.

Great Value
review by: dean simpson operating system: Not Applicable

Computer Specs:
Pentium 4 processor running at 3.0GHz
512mb RAM DDR2 (this memory module im commentating about)
200gb Seagate hard drive
Geforce 6600GTI, getting ready for SLI config :)

I have found this item to be very reliable and very affordable, it's not often you will find DDR 2 RAM clocking at 533mhz and having a capacity of 512mb to be this cheap.

The guy who complains about the RAM not working, using the dell PC, are you sure your computer even takes DDR2 RAM, no offence but you sound like you haven't got a clue about what your talking about.
