Works fine

Windows XPNot sure why other users have had a problem with this, I have never used a wireless set up before so had no idea what to expect, but had it installed and running in 10 minutes ish, was using it with a Netgear DG834PN but now have to use a Netgear DG834G as thats what Sky broadband forces you to use, but not had a problem so far with either of them using this, still have to try it upstairs though which is why I bought it in the first place, but have been forced to keep using this machine while my motherboard on my new build gets sorted out, will report back if there are problems when it goes upstairs, if no more feedback then all went well, can only think that by the date(s) of the problematic users maybe it was an early deign flaw that has since been resolved ?
NO PROBLEMS AT ALL
os:
Windows XPRead the earlier reviews AFTER ordering this so was a bit worried by the mixed responses ! No such problems for me though - it took two minutes to install, and there has been not one unexplained crashing or lockout mentioned in previous reviews.
Looks like Netgear have ironed out all the bugs and came up with an excellent and, more importantly, very reliable piece of kit.
USE LATEST DRIVERS

Not Applicableonce i used the new latest drivers from netgear's site this worked perfectly for me. It's not cheap so loses 1* for that

Windows XPDoesnt seem to have any benefit over the Netgear WG311T 108mbps 802.11g Wireless PCI Card. I am running on the Netgear Dg834N Rangemax Next Wireless Adsl2 Modem Router 802.11N (Draft) and I still only get 54mbps which is a shame cos I thought that rangemax could do faster speeds but never mind.
Software also doesnt seem to work on dual core machines and crashes frequently.
Warning !!

Windows XPDon't even consider buying this until you read this

I have spend over 8 hours trying to get this working. Just when I think I have got it working reliably, it stops working again..
Net Gear support forum suggests Xp Wireless Zero as the best option and I would agree, as I had most sucess with this. However still yet to make it work for more than two hours without reinstalling.
Waiting for an update from Netgear, but you may be getting it back Ebuyer !!
Wish I had read the reviews
I thought this would be a real upgrade to my system with the extra speed. (bought the rangemax wireless router too) All it has done is crash and freeze my system. Going straight back, which is a shame, I have always used netgear for wireless.
