Do Not Hesitate!

Windows XPOrdered these from Ebuyer yesterday and recieved them today. They are a nice Silver/Glossy black combination and look the business beside my Widescreen Monitor. These are a replacement for my Altec Lansing 2.1's which cost £80 when I bought them over a year ago and are certainly as good if not better in regards to sound quality. Bass is clear and distinct, not an overpowering roar like the kind you get with cheaper 2.1's and having the bass volume control on the remote rather than on the back of the bass unit is certainly an improvement. I have played DVD'S and a few Mp3's and am more than satisfied with the sound quality which does not distort even with the volume taken to its maximum. I have these connected to the built in sound of my Motherboard but will be upgrading to a dedicated sound card soon. I would liked to have had control over the treble but I guess this will be a feature of the sondcard that I buy. In my opinion, price/performance wise this unit cannot be beaten.

Not ApplicableI brought these few months back now and thrown just about every thing at them music games and they sound just awsome, I even took them on holiday and played them from my ipod by the pool great sound recommended!

Windows XPAll I can say is, WOW. I just upgraded from speakers that cost me £35 4 years ago and I always thought were pretty good. Boy was I wrong!
The sounds from this is so crisp and clear, and the bass is just.....wow. The bass goes into minus or plus. If I move it into plus at all things start to shake.
I was dubious about the style from the pics and was wondering if I should get the Z3e's instead. but these are v stylish and well built. Even the remote (which has a v long chuncky cable) feels well built and is smooth to touch and use. I have it just next to mouse and it's easy to change the volume now.
If you're wondering wether you should get these or not, don't hesitate, just buy =)
Follow Up To Previous Review
I managed to pair these speakers up with a Sound Blaster Audigy 4 Pci-Card. I am pleased to say that the only weakness I described in my original review ( I felt that the trebble was set too high on these speakers ) has vanished and I guess that the onboard sound of my motherboard was at fault. This set up will certainly be more than adequate for my pc sound needs for many years to come.

Windows XPThis is a great set of speakers. Bought of here at about 1 friday morning and arrived monmday morning, not bad if you consider I paid for withinive days. This product looks amazing and sounds great even when cranked all the way up.

Windows VistaI changed to these from using a Teac CD player / AMP system with some old Bush speakers (i mean old, talking 30 year old hifi speakers).
With plenty of EQ settings from the AMP and the High Deffinition sound on my pc I had great sound from the old speakers.
Due to size of the hifi system and the likely-hood of going to uni in the summer, i bought these.
Now my brother has the X-230s and I thought they were good for £30. I then came accross these beauties with the improvements I were looking for:
Wired remote with easy access to bass control, also the ability to control the volume to headphones (230s dont).
Logitechs aproach to producing the sound is unique with this pressure speaker thing, and it works well.
The satilites have a single active driver supported by two of the pressure drivers. Sound is clear with a good range.
The bass unit also makes use of the pressure system, you cant actually see the speaker cone through the grille, thats a skin (like a drum).
The speaker cone is inside the unit with carefully designed ports providing a thumping and creamy bass.
Lastly is the power and volume of the speakers, its really quite good for the price. Plenty of volume, and doesnt distort easily.
Overall a great product as you would expect from Logitech.
If these speakers could come in a 5.1 or 7.1 system logitech would have a huge hit.
Replacement for 5.1 system

Windows VistaI bought this as a replacement for some broken and old 5.1's that dwindled down to a 2 and 1/2 point 1!
I can gladly say i was not disappointed! The speakers are amazing, extremely bassy, which is coming from someone who never can get enough bass, and its a perfect balance between vocals/treble of the 2 speakers. Very easy to setup, and qucik too, the remote is amazing, nice little control to have right near you for quick adjusting. The finish and touch is really top notch also. Nice and long cables also.
Kudos to ebuyer thou, placed order friday night, and choose free delivery option, was supposed to be deliverd by the 25th march, but instead arrived a whole week earlier, on free delivery option!
You'd have a hard time finding a better deal!
I would like to point out first off that before I purchased these, I was using an 8 year old mini hi-fi.
The Design is top notch, even down to the blue LED on the control, this product has been well thought out and every aspect of it screams quality.
As for sound... Beautiful! Very crisp high tones but more importantly I was looking for quality of bass and Logitech have not disappointed. I mostly listen to electronic music and this kit has far surpassed my expectations.
To sum up - you are not going to find better for your money (and believe me, I've looked!) This is an absolute must buy!

These speakers are amazing. The bass is just incredible, when on full is shakes the room.
But I will say if you sit too close to the speakers it does sound abit tinny.
But otherwise these are SUPERB!
