Good sound on the fly
os:
Windows VistaI decided on the on the V20 rather than the V10's for better overall sound and base, if you need to travel daily with your speakers then go for the V10's to keep weight and bulk to a minimum...
The control buttons at the top are not the best, but not needed as you can control from your laptop..The blue light on top flickers when draws all the power from the port, this is not a bad thing, you just drop the volume and fine tune it for best sound..
GOOD: Quick to setup, Strong carry case, Light,Price, Sound..
BAD: Control buttons..
In all the best portable speakers around for the price, dont wast your money on cheap brands...
Great Package
os:
Windows XPHad these 6 months now and I'm very impressed.
When I first plugged into my Acer laptop XP didn't recognise them but on re-insertion they worked, which is a bit quirky.
The sound quality is excellent, bass and treble is clear and crisp, with an almost surround sound quality when playing movies.
They are powered from a USB port which makes them a good portable option and you get a great case (which fits nicely in my laptop bag)to put them in when not in use.
All in all the whole package oozes quality and at this price they are an absolute bargain, buy now!
Solid USB Speakers
os:
Windows XPThese speakers are great for the non power hi-fi user.
Since these don't plug into the headphone socket, you get direct digital sound. At the same time, you get rid of the adaptor lead, which is one step closer to having minimum wires at the back of the PC.
They do vibrate on hard services with the music turned up a bit.
I have found that the best place for them is sitting on the computer, underneath the desk, facing upwards, with an old cleaning cloth underneath. It makes the desk like one big speaker with the bass sounding great!
can anyone help?
These speakers are working fine with system sounds and also when I play music directly from my hard drive. However, when I play a You Tube movie or online MP3 for example, it reverts back to my laptop integral speaker. Can anyone help me with this? I'm not hugely knowledgeable in this area, but normally manage to find the solution in the end, so this is frustrating. I've tried troubleshooting, device manager, checking the driver etc ... Many thanks!
