Great little mouse

I purchased one of these over 2 years ago and as far as I can remember only replaced the batteries 4 times, and I'm an avid gamer and internet user so it's not like it got an easy life.

A great little mouse that's still going strong over 2 years later, I would recommend this to anyone.

I have 5 computers in my family, and this is the best mouse I have ever used. The ergonomics is fantastic (it fits the hand really well) and it tracks perfectly. The scroll wheel is comfortable and intuitive and you have two thumb buttons that you can choose functions for. Battery life is good too. So impressed I bought a microsoft keyboard to match!

I'm on my second one of these & they are fab. Wore the buttons out on the first one & promptly replaced it with another.

Very comfortable to use & battery life is very good, I use rechargeables & have changed the battery 2-3 times a year at the most.

I would recommend this mouse to anyone, I used to use other brands but definitely will stick to this Microsoft model in the future.

Mostly flawed

My time spent using this mouse started quite well. It's fairly comfortable even for small hands (though a laptop-style mouse is better in that respect); it is smooth and accurate; the stepless scroll wheel works very well; and the rubberised surface provides excellent grip with a light touch. Initially. After a few weeks of daily use, the biggest flaw became apparent when the grip areas began to develop a sticky feel that would not wipe off and constantly attracted dust and dirt. After a little longer, the left grip area developed a worn patch and the silver finish wore off both buttons. The button action has a cheap plasticky "ping" feel as well. It was replaced with a more expensive Logitech that has so far lasted far longer without any sign of wear.
