Had doubts when ordering this based on the initial review, and reviews on other sites about people receiving DOA memory.
But having used Corsair before and been happy, I ordered this for my new build.

Memtest 20 passes, no errors.
Running at stock speeds.
Was detected at 5-5-5-18 on my GA-965P-DS3P motherboard, had to adjust to 5-5-5-12. Very happy!

Brought 4GB of this to go on an ASUS P5B, This is great RAM for the money, ive noticed u can buy this exact same product with slightly faster timings (4-4-4-12) but i'd save your money if i were u- it took me 10 seconds to change this RAM to those timings, all u need to do is increase the voltage by 0.5V then change the timings in BIOS and then you'll have the faster RAM without the bigger price!

System specs:
C2D E6600@3.0GHz | ASUS P5B | X2 Western Digital 80GB Sata's | eVGA 8800GTS 640MB@612MHz/1.8GHz | 2GB Corsair DDR2 PC2-6400@832MHz XMS2 4-4-4-12 | Sony CPD E500E 21" | Windows XP Pro & SP2.

Ordered this memory on next day delivery, easy to install, the memory feels and looks nice and solid and really good quality ram, my system picked it up straight away, i adjusted the voltage to 2.00v and changed the timings from the stock 5-5-5-12 timings to 4-4-4-12 and it runs like a dream! running it at 832MHz and my conroe at 3.0GHz with a 4:5 ratio and its rock stable!

New to installing Choosing/Ram? a few tips.
review by: Anonymous os: Windows XP

Not knowing what Ram would fit into my pc i did a search on Google and found this helpfull website http://crucial.com/uk/ it can scan your pc for you and give you the compatible Ram for your pc, i found this specification Ram in the list that would fit into my pc, also on the site it shows you the number of slots on your motherboard, what the maximum ram you can install and and various configurations of upgrades.

I then came back to Ebuyer and purchased the ram, but being new to installing Ram after the 3rd attempt i was up and running, all problems were my fault i should add and nothing to do with the ram.

Tip

1 Make sure the Ram is pushed fully into the slot so that the tabs click in when home, the pc wont detect that the Ram is installed if not fully home.

2 Keep the Ram in pairs in the motherboard mine had 2 black end clips and 2 white end clips on the ram slots, i think they are called A and B slots,I had an error message when i had mixed them up with the old ram so they were not in pairs.

After putting them in the correct slots and in pairs the ram was detected first time, a quick check just right click on your My Computer icon and click properties, mine now shows 2.5GB ram and is that bit faster loading up software, and no problems so far.

Have had this RAM running with a Asus P5N-E Delux & E4300 for about 3 months with no problems. Great budget system.

Corsair are a top brand & this is a matched pair. You can't go wrong :)

Working totally stable (800mhz) on my Asus P5B with a Intel Core 2 Duo E6750.

CPU-Z identified the timings as 5-5-5-18 (also quoted on the corsair web site), so I manually changed them to that.
