Superb PSU, highly recommended
os:
Windows XPThis is a very efficient PSU, hardly even warms up even under heavy load, plenty of options with it's modular design, and so very very quiet - you have to put your ear right by it to hear anything!
This is a great improvement on the previous generation Antec Neo Power, the one with the 12cm fan - it's cooler, quieter and much more stable and reliable. And to think I paid £90 for that less than a year ago!
Don't skimp on your power supply, but also don't spend twice as much on a top-end fanless one if you are trying to reduce noise - this really is the best!
I too have this in an Antec P180 case, or would do if someone hadn't messed up the delivery! Ahem! Hopefully it will arrive on Monday and I can at last build the machine with which I am going to take over the world. MWUHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!
PURE QUALITY
os:
Not ApplicableI am using this PSU with my Antec P180 Case (Black) and fits in perfectly. Nice and Heavy (sign of a good quality PSU) PSU with a modular design.
Like the image here, there is only one 80mm fan at the rear and it is ULTRA SILENT. Very well designed as one would expect from Antec.
Word of Caution:
When connecting the PCIE connector to your PCIE graphics card's power connector, MAKE SURE THAT YOU CONNECT THE CORRECT END TO THE CARD and THE CORRECT END TO THE PSU as they look the same.
YES it is labelled so you cant go wrong really (Unless you're like me and did not read the labling)
:-)
Fantastic
os:
Windows XP@Mark - Yes it will work in 24 pin and 20 pin motherboards, the connector is adaptable :) Comes in the box.
Great powersupply, fitted perfectly in my P180. Hardly heats up and the modular gear is fantastic. 500 watts is more than enough, people seem to judge PSUs entirely based upon wattage, not what the actually rails and amps are like.
For some guidance as to what it can power, for me it's got the following on stable rails;
Opteron 165 @ 1.9ghz
74gb WD Raptor
250gb Hitachi HDD
2 x DVD+RW drives
Watercooling pump
3 silent 120mm case fans
2gb of OCZ platinum RAM
7900GT overclocked

Rock solid PSU
os:
Windows XPThis PSU has been an absolutely stable and very quiet performer. This is despite my use of a S939 ASUS motherboard, which some have reported instability with. Perhaps the issues others have been having have been fixed in a new revision? I can also reccomend the modular cable system, it makes your PCs innards look so much nicer :-).
To answer the question of another commenter, this PSU does come with the wider 24 pin ATX connecter.
Can
os:
Not ApplicableWow. I didn't realise how noisy my previous ANTEC 350W power supply was until I bought this. I was having some problems because of two hard drives and a powerful graphics card, so I popped on of these in - you can barely hear it! Its not silent, but not far off! Great piece of kit.
Perfect
os:
Not ApplicableThis is a very high quality power supply. You can connect just the cables you will use. I have it in a antec p180 case. Smooth installation
Excellent - and very quiet.
os:
Windows VistaVery, very happy with this psu. Running a mid-high spec system and this is rock solid. Very high build quality, modular cabling system works well.
For me the most important aspect was that of low noise and this is a massive improvement over my previous psu's. Closest to silence I have ever heard from a psu. Very happy customer.

Fits great in an Antec Nine Hundred
os:
Not ApplicableReally nice PSU, reasonable light, compact and quiet. Fitted with ease in the Nine Hundred, which is a great case by the way.
Another quality product from Antec and eBuyer.
Good Power Supply - but not *that* quiet!
os:
Windows XPReally well built PSU. Seems stable, bomb-proof and, as others have said, the cable management system is excellent. I managed to get away by just fitting 2 additional cables to the PSU which makes the inside of my PC look a lot neater. However, I just wanted to make it clear that the PSU is not as quiet as some others have suggested. Some said you can't hear it unless you put your ear to it and so on. That's just nonsense. I'd say it's slightly below average noise level, but it's certainly not approaching silent. If your PC's under a desk in a quiet room, you'll definitely know it's on!
Nice little runner.

Windows XPI was running this little beauty with as ASUS A8N-SLI motherboard in a Antec P180 case.
It has been great nice, quiet, stable. Love the ability to plug in only the cables required which is useful with the power supply being in the bottom of the P180.
Unfortunatly after 8 Months of constant flawless operation mine died I await a replacement. Would be 5* if mine hadn't died.
