Great Value at this price

This (<115gbp) is sensational value for this piece of equipment, if you can get it at the current low price. Be warned though, the power adapter is unsuitable for use in the UK (it is a US 2pin 110v adapter) - if you read carefully, the description does say "No Charger".

However, this is not a significant problem because you can charge up using the supplied USB cable (takes slightly longer) or order a separate mains charger for less than 10gbp if you search around.

First experiences are very good, but I have been a palm user since the early days, and have not used a WinCE system so can't compare. However, I hooked up to my neighbour's wifi (by accident...) very easily and was browsing the web in seconds, before configuring the security so it would connect to my own wifi AP. Also connected vi Bluetooth to my phone, all very slick.

Screen is bright and clear, all the apps are there, but still getting to grips with Graffiti2 after nearly 10yrs of using the old-style Graffiti.

5 stars for this hardware at this price - you can't go wrong. I bought three!

Palm T|X
review by: Jonathon Doig os: Max OSX

Just wanted to backup what JD said about the T|X. I got one recently and love it. I use it mainly over USB on my Mini running Tiger but, I also have it working via BT on my MacBook as well. I stuck with Palm after buying a Pilot Pro in 1997. Fab device, great screen, WiFi + BT Syncing. Has not crashed on me at all.

Just need to figure out VoIP clients now and then it's six stars.

Never had/used PDA before, this is an amazing bit of kit at a unbeatable price. Every thing worked straight from the box.It looks like my laptop will become semi-redundant, this is a serious machine for PROPER work, but also has some charming features. The price has crept up a bit today so buy now.

Great bit of kit. Was £110 which made it even better. Will charge from the cable so the lack of mains charger is not a problem. Use with Tomtom sofwear for a great nav system

This is an excellent value PDA, you have to pay way over 200 quid for an HP iPAQ with similar features and it won't be as easy to use.

* Mine came with a UK charger. *

I've been a palm user for 3 years, i'm not gonna compare it to a windows mobile device, but believe me this thing is sweet. Consider it as a low end laptop. Xvid, h .264 video (via the free TCPMP), Ms office Doc editing, picture viewing, email, web browsing.

Ok, sadly the good folks at palm don't know what the word "new os" means so sadly this thing is one of the most unstable devices ever. Not unstable as in windows, think unix unstable. It still rocks the socks off any other device out there.

Remember for this price Windows mobile units are pants and don't even have wifi never mind bluetooth.

I got mine the week it came out for £220

so seeing it here for £180 is a steal, if you do alot of typing be sure to get the wireless keyboard.

enjoy
