What is 4K UHD?
The resolution of any display is measured by the number of pixels packed inside a screen. Think of them as dots. The more pixels, the more detail you're going to be able to see in the picture. Edges appear smoother, colours transition more gradually and everything is more detailed.
In terms of raw numbers 4K has a resolution of 3840 x 2160 pixels. This might not seem like much as a standalone fact, but when compared to Full HD (the resolution found on most modern laptops) which measures just 1920 x 1080, you can really start to understand the difference.
4K laptops really shine in certain situations and will definitely benefit people who run 4K content such as gaming, BluRay or watching videos services like Netflix and YouTube. It doesn't stop there though, 4K can make even everyday tasks like sending emails look fantastic thanks to its supremely detailed nature.
Filmmakers, videographers, graphic designs or anyone who generally needs to work with some kind of photo or video editing software will appreciate the benefits of 4K.
