The precision with which the printer works sets it apart from other 3D printers in its price bracket but it also boasts several innovative features that make it a quick and easy machine to use.
With any 3D printer safety is something that needs to be seriously considered. Which is why the XYZ Noble 1.0 features a removable shell over its working parts. And this enclosed design ensures users are protected from ultra-violet rays as well as any by-products generated whilst printing, making the machine incredibly safe and suitable for use in home or office environments.
An additional safety feature is the auto-refill mechanism which eliminates the need for users to keep topping up the resin during the printing process.
So easy to use
Remarkably the Nobel 1.0 is a USB plug and play device. Simply connect to a USB drive and press print. It's as easy as that.
To actually print the Nobel 1.0 use a technique called stereolithography or SLA (Stereolithography Apparatus). This is a process in which an object is built in layers using resin and ultra-violet lasers. A great advantage of SLA over other 3D printing methods is its speed.
Objects can be created (relatively) quickly and are created by 'printing' one very thin (0.3mm) layer, or slice, at a time and then bonding it to the previous layer. This process is repeated again and again to finally create the finished object.
