Ebuyer Expand to Sheffield
We are delighted to announce Ebuyer are expanding our business operation.
Ebuyer will be returning to our roots by opening a dedicated business sales office at Sheffield’s Arena Court.
The expansion sees us return to our hometown 9 years after relocating from Woodburn Road, Sheffield, to a purpose built distribution centre in Howden East Yorkshire.
The proposed opening date will be mid-September with the Don Valley premises eventually housing over 70 staff recruited from the local area.
Business Sale Focus
The Arena Court office will focus on SMB sales and business solutions with a bespoke CRM system designed to the bridge the gap between digital and offline sales.
34% of the UK’s B2B IT sales traffic visits Ebuyer.com at some stage in their purchasing journey and the new sales system is designed to capitalise on this potential footfall [based on top 25 IT & Business VARS in the UK].
Ebuyer’s Head of Sales Phil Bates is excited at the prospect of a dedicated sales office.
The investment in the new office will mean that we’re able to engage much more closely with our customers and recommend the best solution for them. This investment in the office and the expansion of staff will increase our ability to be the virtual IT procurement manager for the UK’s small and medium businesses.
Ebuyer MD Focus on B2B
Ebuyer’s MD Stuart Carlisle believes that B2B growth is key for the company to continue expanding.
“It’s incredibly important for a company like Ebuyer.com to continually evolve with the market and finding ways to interact effectively with our business customers is crucial.”
“We‘ve seen the business to business sales sector of our operation grow rapidly over the last two years and opening this new office to generate and fulfil sales allows us to capitalise on a huge swathe of customers we simply couldn’t access before.”
“I’m delighted to be able to expand the company when a number of other VARS are struggling in the market, and opening this office in Sheffield, where everything began, is particularly special.”
