If you’re video calling from a smartphone, it will most likely already have a front facing camera and microphone built in. But if you’re using a desktop PC and monitor, you may need to add a webcam and / or microphone.
Wi-Fi is important but not essential as you can still make calls without it, using 4G/5G. But keep an eye on your data as video calling will use more of it than a regular phone call.
