Ebuyer: The one with all the TV deals…

Oh! My! God! This week there’s something pretty special happening on TV so we’ve got some TV deals to celebrate! The six cast members of iconic 1990s comedy show FRIENDS are reuniting for an hour-long special, during which they’ll look back at favourite moments from all 236 episodes.

Great writing and fantastic performances led to Friends growing into a global phenomenon. The cool but family-friendly show lasted for ten seasons (originally broadcast between 1994 and 2004), though it endures to this day. Somewhere in the world there’s a channel showing an episode on repeat right now!

The premise of Friends was really simple. It focused on a group of – hey! – friends living in New York and hanging out in a cool coffee shop. It launched the careers of Matthew Perry, Jennifer Aniston, Courteney Cox, Matt Le Blanc, David Schwimmer and Lisa Kudrow – though, arguably, none of them has gone on to anything better.

The reunion special will give viewers the chance for a fix of nostalgia, to see the chemistry the six principles so richly enjoyed, and to catch up on what each of them has been doing. It has been confirmed that Friends: The Reunion will be shown in the UK on Thursday 27th May at 8pm on Sky One, the same day as in the US.

So that’s all very well, but what should you watch the reunion show on? We’ve picked out six TV deals which we think give you a great choice. All of these TV sets have amazing high-quality features, so we’ve focused in on a key one for each… Hey! Happy viewing!
