Getting Started

How do I create a list?

You can create a list from "Your Lists" page. Just simply give it a name and click create list.

If you see a product you like and want to save it to a new list lookout for this add to list menu and click "Add to new list".

Lookout for the "Create your own List" button.

If you see something on someone else's list then quickly add it to one of your lists by using the "Add to My List" menu.

If you are not ready to buy your new items yet, save it as a list in the basket. Just lookout for this button

How can I add a product to a list?

You can add a product while you are on one of your lists, just simply enter the quickfind code of the product.

You can add a product to an existing list or even a new one by using the "Add to My Lists" menu from the product page or on another users list.

What can I modify on a list?

You can quickly change the title of your list by just clicking on the existing title, enter the new title you want and click done. It's that simple.

Want to talk about a product? Just click on the comment box to start giving your opinion on it, be sure to click done when you have finished.

Give your list a description by clicking on the about this list section, click done when you've finished. Some of your description will be shown with the list overview.

You can delete a product from a list or even re-order your products on the list. To re-order them simply grab the arrow and drag which way you want to go. Once you have chose the place just drop it in there.

How do I share my lists on social networking sites?

To share your list or any others you can use any of these social links. You can like or share it on Facebook, tweet about it or +1 it! This way others can see what you are interested in.

You can also discuss your list or other's lists on Facebook and discuss what you think about the products.

How do I follow someone?

Lookout for this follow button throughout lists. If you like what someone is talking about follow them! This button is available on all user profiles and on lists.

If you see this feel free to use the Report List link located on the bottom right of each list, this way one of our team will review this list and take appropriate action.
  4. 4Be Creative - Lists are all about sharing what items really interest you. We would like all Ebuyer customers to be creative and authentic.

1.1. You are responsible for your use of the Services, for any Content you post to the Services, and for any consequences thereof. The Content you submit, post, or display will be able to be viewed by other users of the Services and all Ebuyer customers. You should only provide Content that you are comfortable sharing with others under these Terms.

1.2. The Services that Ebuyer provide are always evolving and the form and nature of the Services that Ebuyer provides may change from time to time without prior notice to you. In addition, Ebuyer may stop (permanently or temporarily) providing the Services (or features within the Services) to you or to users generally and may not be able to provide you with prior notice.

2. Data Protection

6. Copyright

6.1. Ebuyer respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects users of the Services to do the same. We will respond to notices of alleged copyright infringement that comply with applicable law and are properly provided to us

6.2. We reserve the right to remove Content alleged to be infringing without prior notice, at our sole discretion, and without liability.

7. Our Liability

7.1. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Ebuyer shall not be liable for any indirect, direct, incidental, or consequential damages or any loss of profits, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, good-will, or other intangible losses, resulting from:

  • 7.1.1. your access to or use of or inability to access or use the Services
  • 7.1.2. any conduct or Content of any third party on the Services, including without limitation, any defamatory, offensive or illegal conduct of services; or
  • 1.1.3. unauthorised access, use or alteration of your transmissions or Content

8. Events outside our control

8.1. We will not be liable or responsible for any failure to perform, or delay in performance of, our Service that is caused by events outside our reasonable control (Force Majeure Event).

8.2. A Force Majeure Event includes any act, event, non-happening, omission or accident beyond our reasonable control and includes in particular (without limitation) the following:

  • 8.2.1. strikes, lock-outs or other industrial action;
  • 8.2.2. civil commotion, riot, invasion, terrorist attack or threat of terrorist attack, war (whether declared or not) or threat or preparation for war;
  • 8.2.3. fire, explosion, storm, flood, earthquake, subsidence, epidemic or other natural disaster;
  • 8.2.4. impossibility of the use of railways, shipping, aircraft, motor transport or other means of public or private transport;
  • 8.2.5. impossibility of the use of public or private telecommunications networks;
  • 8.2.6. the acts, decrees, legislation, regulations or restrictions of any government.

8.3. Our performance of the Services is deemed to be suspended for the period that the Force Majeure Event continues, and we will have an extension of time for performance for the duration of that period. We will use our reasonable endeavours to bring the Force Majeure Event to a close or to find a solution by which our obligations under the Contract may be performed despite the Force Majeure Event.

9. Waiver

9.1. If we fail, at any time, to insist upon strict performance of any of your obligations under these Terms, or if we fail to exercise any of the rights or remedies to which we are entitled under these Terms, this shall not constitute a waiver of such rights or remedies and shall not relieve you from compliance with such obligations.

9.2. A waiver by us of any default shall not constitute a waiver of any subsequent default

9.3. No waiver by us of any of these terms and conditions shall be effective unless it is expressly stated to be a waiver and is communicated to you in writing.

10. Severability

10.1 If any of these terms and Conditions are determined by any competent authority to be invalid, unlawful or unenforceable to any extent, such term, condition or provision will to that extent be severed from the remaining terms, conditions and provisions which will continue to be valid to the fullest extent permitted by law.

11. Entire Agreement

11.1 We intend to rely upon these terms and conditions and any document expressly referred to in them. While we accept responsibility for statements and representations made by our duly authorised agents, please make sure you ask for any variations from these terms and conditions to be confirmed in writing.

12. Our right to vary these terms and conditions

12.1. We have the right to revise and amend these terms and conditions from time to time to reflect changes in market conditions affecting our business, changes in relevant laws and regulatory requirements and changes in our system's capabilities.

12.2. You will be subject to the policies and terms and conditions in force at the time you use our Services, unless any change to those policies or these terms and conditions is required to be made by law or governmental authority .

13. Law and Jurisdiction

13.1 We will be governed by English law. Any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with such Terms or their formation (including non-contractual disputes or claims) shall be subject to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales..
