Campaign product builder [LINK]

Purpose: The objective is to improve collaboration among departments and make the most of our product deals and unique selling points (USPs) to better serve our customers.

Process: Every Monday at 7:30 AM, I will update the campaign products. Please make sure to complete all your tasks before then.

During the product update on the landing page, the spreadsheet will be locked to prevent any interruptions. It will be unlocked again at 9:00 AM on Monday, allowing you to make any necessary changes for the next Monday.

It is your responsibility to ensure that your tasks are completed according to the requirements outlined below and finished on time before Monday.

Category name

Responsiblity: Fran

The category name needs to be:

  1. SEO-friendly
  2. Words need to be in title case e.g. Best Budget Laptops for Students or AI Laptops for Students

In the title case, major words are capitalised, and most minor words are lowercase.

• Major words like "Quick," "Brown," "Fox," "Jumps," and "Dog" are capitalised.

• Minor words like "the" are lowercase, except when they're at the beginning or end of the title.

Category link

Responsiblity: Lauren / Harry

The category link needs to be:

  1. From tagging page e.g. https://www.ebuyer.com/t/back-to-school-laptops or https://www.ebuyer.com/t/payday-deals containing tagged products
    • If this is not filled, then the View More button will not be visible for the selected category.

Hero products

Responsiblity: PMs

With the hero products, the requirements are:

  1. Minimum of 4 products

    • If this is not met, then the selected category will be disregarded.
  2. Checkbox update - I'll update the checkboxes on Monday after I finish adding products to the landing page. This will indicate that the products are visible to customers on the campaign's page.

    • If PMs want to replace products for next Monday, please swap out the visible product with a new one and then UNTICK the checkbox. This will let me know which products need to be removed and replaced.
  3. Positioning - The products in each category will be displayed from left to right on the landing page, following the top-to-bottom order from the spreadsheet. Please ensure they are correctly arranged.

    • I suggest listing the best deals at the top of the sheet to attract customers' attention.
  4. Maximum of 10 hero products - to prevent issues with page loading performance, please limit the number of hero products to a maximum of 10 per category.

  5. Mistake? If you accidentally added the wrong product and it's already visible to customers, please do not add the correct product to the spreadsheet. Instead, explain how the mistake occurred and specify which product needs to be replaced by clicking here. I will promptly correct the error and update the spreadsheet.

  6. Promo message (optional) - this allows to highlight important details about the product such as 20% off, use <CODE>, Massive saving, FREE Game inc., etc.

    • It needs to be very short and snappy
      • Ideally 40-50 characters max.
