AlphaSync gaming PCs now come with Xbox Game Pass pre-installed as standard (one month trial included). In this new video featuring our guest presenter James (GeekaWhat), we look at five of the finest titles available through the app.

But first, how do you fire it up? Simply head to the Windows button and type in ‘Xbox’, and this opens the Xbox Game Pass app. All the latest and most popular titles are there on the ‘front page’, but you can also browse the entire collection. There are over 100 titles waiting for you to play, and the collection is updated every single month.

Search alphabetically, find the game you’re looking for and click install. Choose your destination to install the game and create a desktop shortcut. This means it will be super-quick to launch the game when you want to play. And what are you going to play?

AMONG US

One of the biggest titles of 2020, and rightly so! The social deduction game centres around a largely innocent spaceship lobby, but in there are one or two imposters bent on killing everyone else and winning the game… and you must work out who they are!

FORZA HORIZON 4

You could also play the new Forza Motorsport 7, but the Horizon series has always been a favourite of our guest presenter GeekaWhat. Horizon 3 was based in Australia, but Horizon 4 takes place in the UK – including some nice Scottish-inspired landscapes. Graphics look incredible, powered by RTX 3090 in the AlphaSync gaming PC.

CONTROL

Winner of over 80 awards, Control sees you work as an agent for a secret government agency in a post-apocalyptic world. Encountering strange phenomena that violate the laws of reality, you’re in for hours of gameplay combining some of the best elements of a first-person shooter with a role-playing game.

SEA OF THIEVES

A-harrrr. This one is a pirate classic, in which you’ll explore unspoiled islands, sunken ships and mysterious artefacts, seeking out lost treasure, confronting cursed Skeleton Captains and protecting your precious loot. The graphics look awesome and the game is playable with a controller or keyboard.

HALO MASTER-CHIEF COLLECTION

The full Halo collection is available with Game Pass, and GeekaWhat tested out Halo 2 for those nostalgic vibes. The AlphaSync gaming PC features i9 and RTX 3090 can handle any of the Halo titles and keep the gaming on point with super-high frame rates and super-high resolutions.
