The DNS-343 accommodates up to four 3.5" SATA hard drives of any capacity (HD not included). Tools or cables are not required for setup. Simply slide the front cover, insert the drives and slide the front cover back.
The DNS-343 includes a USB port, for print server functionality or the monitoring of an Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) unit. It features Gigabit Ethernet connectivity with support for Jumbo frames. Its smart fans adopt a lower speed when the temperature drops below 49 °C; the drives are also able to enter a hibernation state. A built-in OLED screen updates you on drive quotes, server status, and other integral system information in real time.

Nice NAS Box
operating system:Windows 7It's a compact desktop box that feels solidly built, drive installation is completely tool-free, as you push the front cover up to remove it and simply slide in up to four SATA hard disks, then give them a gentle push to connect with the power and interface connectors. Levers are provided at the rear to pop the drives out, but they're not hot-swappable.
A Gigabit network port is provided at the rear along with a usb for a printer, the front cover has a nice OLED display, which provides plenty of highly visible information about the box.This makes installation easier, since it shows the assigned IP address so you can point a web browser at it. All in all its a very nice box and i'm well pleased with it, the functions are more than enough for the home user and if you would like more then i suggest you google "nas-tweaks" if you want to add more applications to this box.
