The Company

Ebuyer.com is one of the UK’s leading online electrical retailers with four million registered customers and 250 employees. Founded in 1999, the company started off as the brainchild of a group of IT developers and PC retail experts, who wanted computer components to be more readily available and at lower prices. Ebuyer grew quickly from its humble beginnings to become the site for overclockers and PC enthusiasts.

Ebuyer.com has since moved into mainstream electricals, offering everything from TVs, laptops and tablet PCs to kettles and digital cameras, yet it remains a leading go-to site for computer components.

The company’s distribution facility was purpose built in 2006 at its headquarters in Howden, East Yorkshire. The site houses a 280,000sq feet, state of the art warehouse, from where 10,000 products are delivered to customers every day.

This is why we've invested in building a website that allows you to securely manage your accounts without intervention. Customers can not only track their order, but also view previous orders, and keep a ‘wish list’ of products. An Express Checkout facility saves you time; and you can change your account details, all without having to speak to our customer support team.

The Environment

Here at Ebuyer we take environmental policies very seriously and monitor the impact our business has on the environment, throughout the whole end to end process, as well as helping our customers to think green too.

While we distribute thousands of products every day, we have strict packaging guidelines; and any waste cardboard or plastics on site are recycled - none of the waste generated on site is sent to landfill. Ebuyer headquarters have been designed to be energy efficient, while we stock a wide range of solar-powered products.

We encourage customers to help us look after the environment. As well as free recycling, we provide a service for returning electrical waste products.
