Excellent printer with great support on multiple OS
operating system:LinuxI was looking for a printer to replace an ageing IBM Laser printer from 2000 (12pages/minute) and saw PC Pro magazine had the wireless versino of this printer on their "A" list of recommendations. Since I don't use wireless I chose this cheaper alternative. It still comes with LAN (wired) ethernet and USB support. Really easy to setup and working across the network via Windows 7 and Debian Linux. Very compact compared to some alternatives (which was good for me because it needed to live in a cupboard) but seems very solidly put together and still holds about 150 sheets A4 paper. Would definitely recommend this printer if you need a non-wirless network A4 laser mono printer.

Great Buy
operating system:Mac OSXI recently purchased this printer after a string of inkjet printers. I'm pleased to say, the build quality is so much better than any inkjet, and looking at price, its a worthwhile investment. My only gripe is that it can be quite noisy, but it just means I dont leave it running 24/7. Excellent buy for your first laser printer. I would also look into the colour version as well.
