Beware - short leads
Nice hub with blue lights (on mine) which come on with the switches. Solid build, works well but the leads are cronically short. the USB lead is only 53 cm which will not reach from your desktop down to the rear of your tower without an extension. Also it's hard-wired into the hub rather than socketed.
The power plug lead is short again at 70 cm, certainly not enough to reach from a floor or skirting-mounted socket up to your desktop. I ended up using an old compatable supply from a Sweex hub that had failed which had a properly long lead.
Not much use
operating system:Windows 7Absolutely useless with more than 2 devices that pull any kind of power. I have a barcode scanner and a pen drive but when i plug a powered external HDD into it the scanner turns off.
Nice idea tho, hence 2 stars.
