Excellent piece of kit for the money.
os:
Windows XPThe camera comes with a power pack for the camera and one for the receiver and a battery connector for the camera. The receiver has a phono lead which plugs directly into th TV or you can put the phono into one of those phono to scart adaptors you get with the Xbox or Play Station and then into the TV. There is no sound with this camera and it is made of steel/alloy. It is not a wireless network camera, but can be attached to a PC TV card and streamed to the network using the proper software. The camera is the size of an egg and although it is sealed it would only have limited waterproofing for outside use. The wireless link uses the 1.39 Ghz frequency and does not affect my 2.4 Ghz wireless network or phone system. The infra red capability is what I wanted it for as I had something under the house which kept pinching the dog food, and the camera lit up all the underfloor 5M X 5M to allow me to catch the pests. The transmit distance is about 20M and the camera sometimes needs switching on and off again when in infra red mode when it detects a bright light, but this is rare. Saved me a fortune as it has stopped the rats chewing my network and electric cables !!!. The Infra red mode shows Black & White with good picture sharpness. The daylight use is in colour and the picture is sharp but the colours are a bit wishy washy, but if its someones face you are trying to capture the quality is good enough to use as video evidence.
Connectors etc
os:
Windows XPIn answer to the above question ours have phono connectors which will need to be converted to bnc. Yes the camera is not capable of transmitting to a wireless network so we overcome this by putting a cheap box into the network with a DVR card which BTW came with phono to bnc converters. The camers can all be used and viewed across the network as the spare pc is wireless along with the majority of the other computers.
How To Play It Through A PVR Or PC
Is there any chance of the camera being able to be played through PVR or PC. Does any one no of a special cable I might need ? If so please either post a comment back or e-mail me at Josh.Willis@gmail.com
Absolutely amazing
os:
Not ApplicableThe camera points down the path to the front door of the old shop and transmits through 4 walls over a distance of about 15 metres to a telly. The picture is good and in colour.
Great Buy

Not ApplicableThis cam points to a nearby house, i can see the residents through 3 walls!
Even at night!
This product is well worth it for any budding observers!
CCTV Camera
This Wireless camera does not work in conjunction with a wireless computer network, unless you plug the receiver unit into a video grabber card.
I'm quite impressed with the quality/clarity of the picture. Very good for seeing those annoying salesman at the front door before you waste effort and energy opening the door.
Works perfectly - what a great buy

Windows XPThis is a superb product for the price. The wireless connection is proprietary but plugging the camera into a standard tv card worked like a dream. Brilliant for watching your baby sleep ( or not, as the case may be ) and monitoring anything day or night. only criticism is that if you are near a phone or wireless equipment you may need to fine tune the receiver signal using the tuner button ( only takes seconds to do ). this is the best price for this type of product ( 20% cheaper than our hongkong friends on ebay ) well done ebuyer.
Can anyone tell me can this be used externaly?
Can this product be used outside(Externaly)?
I have been told by the sales team that it cannot be but they were not sure!
Can someone who has purchased one please respond to this message please!!!
Budget Security
os:
Windows XPJust bought one of these as looking to setup a home security system. To clear up some points, the camera does not act as a Wi-Fi camera, it simply uses wireless to transmit to the reciever (like cordless phones). The connector on the reciever is phono and will only plug into TVs with phono connectors. Alternatly you can get connectors that change phono into BNC and Ariel type sockets. As for the setup the range is not fantastic and there is interference with the wireless, the image is reasonably clear and colours are a bit faded, but for the price its not too shabby.
Can you describe the product
i dont know if anyone has the time or can be bothered! but im not quite sure of what this kit involves as i understand, you have a camera which only requires power, this transmits to a box which requires power. but wht do you do with the box does it have a scart connection.
