Great little drive
operating system:OtherQuick, quiet and I feel more comfortable using Seagate and Western Digital for generic storage. Bought a second of these which was £15 more than last month but, still reasonable value. 16Mb cache is a definite improvement over 8Mb. Power consumption increase is difficult to detect even in a lab. Spin speed makes this seem super responsive when upgrading older 5400rpm drives.
For a cheap solution to three or four potential issues, this drive would be well matched to a value external caddy, or used in conjunction with a caddy to very quickly upgrade laptop storage and retain all your data efficiently. See Quickfind code 158386.
