Quiet and Reliable

I had to upgrade my old 650W PSU since it wasn't giving a consistent power output to all my hardware. The reason I went for an 850W rather than just a good 550W or 650W is because I wanted to be able to add more to the system. I am very impressed with this PSU so far.
It's very quiet, can't hear it at all over my case fans.

More modular cables than you can shake a stick at and it has rock steady supply capability under the most demanding of loads

I also passed the spec and review over to an electronics engineer who thought it was a very good unit
Caution fan does not run and no LED light when you just plug it into the mains. However all is good. The unit needs "load" to be working properly. As soon as connected up to the MOBO etc ... everything comes alive..
I can thoroughly recommend this unit so ....Five Stars

operating system:Windows 7If PSUs were cake the XFX 850W Black Edition would be Blackforest gateau with double whipped cream and extra cherries on top!!! Truely, TRUELY, amazing piece of kit. I'd recommend anybody to buy one of these PSUs.
They look the business because they ARE the business. Inside the nicely wrapped and presented box comes a plethora of modular cables to suit anybody's requirements. All neatly stored in a very nice custom XFX cable bag. This PSU will power up to 2 graphics cards. Any more and you need something different because there simply aren't enough modular ports to run more than 2 modern PCI-E graphics cards.
I'll give the XFX 850W Black Edition 5 stars because I can't give it 6!

Stunning PSU
operating system:Windows 7After doing some in-depth review for my new psu as i am going Xfire this psu constantly stood out and i decided to purchase this beast.
Once it was delivered and got the box open and looked at the unit you an see this psu is well built and seeing as how it is based on Seasonic it has to be quality.
If you are in the marke for 850 modular psu this is the one.
