Please note: networking components such as Powerline adapters require that all adapters must work within the same HomePlug standard to remain compatible, for example HomePlug AV (HPAV) adapters with communicate with other HPAV Powerline components, regardless of whether they are 200Mbps or 500Mbps. Older 85Mbps adapters work on the different HomePlug 1.0 standard & are not compatible with HomePlug AV adapters.
All Powerline products will connect to any switch or router Ethernet port. Powerline adapters can be used with extension leads (except surge protection ones), and will work across different ring mains so long as they share a common fuse box. Great little piece of kit.
operating system:Windows 7I have now purchased 4 of these. They are excellent. Plug in and away you go. No set up, no hassle. Friends come, give them a TP-Link and away they go. Any socket in the house now provides internet access. Haven't really noticed any reduction in performance/speed etc. Used mainly for surfing the net. Not sure about online games etc. Fine for downloads and so on. It's a shame you can't get your phone etc the same way. Buy without hesitation.

it's very small and cute. i can plug another adapter next to the socket. used to buy some other tplink products in the past. this one is as good as the others.
