Best PSU on the market!

I just love this PSU. The rails are rock solid and the 120mm is super quiet. The best of all is the "ribbon" style modular cables. These cables are super flexible and you can hid them behind the motherboard and drives.

This is a definitely the best investment I ever made on my system, because I know this will last me for a long time. Corsair dooes provide great support and a 5 year warranty, best in the industry. Great job Corsair!

Well after suffering with an unstable system for long enough, I thought it time to upgrade my trusty old Tagan PSU for the Corsair, with a little more Umph..
On initially opening the box, I was inpressed; it is so well packaged, and a nice little bag for the unused cabling.
Installation due to the modular cabling was a doddle, and the flat cabling made for ease in the routing through out the case. One comment i will make though, is that the SATA runs have a maximum of 3 headers on it, unlike the traditional 4 found on the older ATA style molex's.
With the PSU installed, and the system up and running, I am now seeing stable voltages at the levels that should have been there all the time, and a noticeably cooler running CPU.
I would highly recommend this PSU to anyone wanting to upgrade their current system. For the first offered from a new company in the PSU arena, Corsair have made a good start.

Great PSU!
review by: Happy HX620 User operating system: Linux

We chose these PSUs for our servers at work due to the fact that the rails can borrow voltage from each other. They are also every efficient.

In answer to the guy who asked if it would copy with 6 Sata HDDs in his hefty PC. We have 14 Sata HDDs running in each of our servers currently with not a hint of problem. It's worth mentioning that these machines obviously don't have high power gfx etc. but they run rock stable.

Love it!

I love this PSU. The PSU is often the least-researched component of a system and is often overlooked - but it is critical to system stability.

The PSU itself is whisper-quiet. It fits sturdily into my X-Cruiser case. The modular cables are very very useful - no more unused power cables cluttering up your case! It also comes with cable ties (a very nice touch) and a little bag to store spare cables in.

It is running my AMD Dual-Core proccie, SATA HDD, 6600GT graphics card, wireless PCI card and five fans without breaking a sweat. When I upgrade to an 8800GTS I know this PSU will be able to handle it.

Overall, I cannot fault this PSU. Buy one if you need higher power, otherwise the 520W one will do the job just as well!

Great PSU

I am running;

Q6600 CPU
7950 GT graphics card
2 HDDS
2 Optical Drives
4 Fans
4 GB RAM

My system performs to the best of it's ability with this PSU. I am surprised how many cables you get with it, so many cables with varying uses, had to sit down and think which cables i needed and which ones i didn't. This PSU comes with enough power connectors for RAID, SLI and every other power hungry hardware solution. I only am using the 24 pin motherboard connector, 1 x PCI, 1 cable with 2 connectors for HDDs, 1 cable with 3 connectors which i use for optical drives and my fan controller. The best thing about this is, if you add or remove hardware, you need only change the cable. Easy to connect but at the same time not easy to pull out by mistake. This PSU can handle 1 of the 8000 Nvidia cards, which is what i will be upgrading to soon.

Have just installed this on a new machine tonight and am utterly impressed at the build quality and also the cabling that came with the unit. They are flat which means you can bend them this way and that and really tidy up your case! If you're looking for a decent gaming PSU then I would stop here! :)

Got this as a replacement for a faulty new Hiper 580Watt psu.

The Corsair 620 is a great PSU, provides ample power and is pretty quiet as well.

Highly recommended.
