Windows Vistarecieved today after ordering monday (excellent delivery as usual. Just set it up and it is a quality PSU.
Cant tell if the fan is silent because my case fans are so loud :p but does seem quietter than before.
The cables are excellent and look a lot neater than the old ones, plus the velcro strap is great.
Only down side for me is the length between the two SATA cables isnt enough to plug into the hard drive and the DVD drive. Doesn't matter because i have a 4 molex adapter already but just note this if you have a distance between your SATA devices.
Apart from that its a very good PSU.

if you want a 500w psu, settle for no less than this one, it's perfect, quiet and very well made

Not ApplicableBest 30 quid I ever spent. If there's a better 500W PSU around, I've yet to come across it.
Plenty of power for your chunky graphics cards, and twenty-odd core processors, plenty of cables for your multiple HDDs, etc., and a lovely finish.
Damn quiet, too.
