Google this (lime-exeter) and see what this brilliant sat nav can do!

I saw a post somewhere else on the web saying all features work after installing.

Activesync connection failure

Overall I found this sat nav great as long as you use TomTom sat nav software. Bulldog is definately not quite there yet.

One slight issue though don't seem to be able to run the active sync software to locate my device. No issue though manually able to access what I want. FM transmitter is perfect no interference, blue tooth seems good as well. Still waiting for some one to hack it though!

Nice build quality, bright screen. Runs TOMTOM7. Slight lack of sensitivity in the widescreen display. Comes with 1gb sd card, mounting kit (compatible with the standard mounts- I use a brodit mount) usb cable and in car charger.

Navigo Widescreen V2

The build quality of this device is not bad for the price. Turbo dog is ok for A to B navigation.Maps installed on the 1GB SD card provided.

First experience was very frustrating. The "back" button would not work at all on the "system" options in the interface. Had to switch it off everytime I tried to access "system". A touch screen recalibration worked and it has not frozen so far.

The windscreen mount broke the first time I used it. Very disappointed with it. I am going to contact ebuyer for a replacement mount.

The bluetooth option works ok.

My e90 communicator paired fine. Please note that the device should be mounted as close as possible for optimal communication. A few inches away and the quality suffers.

You cannot transfer your contacts via bluetooth, no facility provided, so this is not totally handsfree. This is OK for receiving calls. Number keypad will have to be used for making calls. But then if it is a phone no you dont remember and if it is a contact on your phone you might as well use your phone. No voice command support. The bluetooth menu appears on the corner of the screen while navigation is being carried out.

The Navigo has a TMC port. I have not used the FM transmitter yet to listen to music through the sound system on the car yet.

TomTom7 works fine on an SD card. I have used a 4GB SDHC, no problems. I have not yet booted into windows CE.

The volume has to be on max for clear hearing especially under noisy conditions.

The device loses battery charge very quickly.

I was not expecting too much from the Navigo and apart from a few quirks it is a fine unit.

Considering that even advanced TomTom's like the Go 930T have issues the navigo is not bad at all.

Only if they could include phone contacts transfer via bluetooth.

FM transmitter or not?
review by: Anonymous os: Not Applicable

Help from ebuyer????
Just taken delivery.
No mention of the FM transmitter in manual or menu system.
How can it be enabled?

Ebuyer Comment - The option to turn this on/off is in the 'system' menu and then 'volume' before you enter 'navigation'. If there isn't anything there, please contact customer services.

Other navigation software
review by: Anonymous os: Windows XP

Looks promising BUT - Can Ebuyer comment on its general abilities to run other (navigation) software, whether bluetooth calling works with 'other navigation software' and is it possible to use activesync?

Oh and some pictures please.
