In some UK areas a wideband aerial upgrade may be needed to receive Freeview digital terrestrial TV. It is possible that the type of aerial fitted was designed just to receive a narrow group of existing analogue TV channels. Such an aerial will give poor reception (at best) if the digital TV channels in your area are outside the frequencies that the existing aerial was designed to receive.
We advise that you use a direct Aerial connection rather than an Indoor Aerial as more often than not this will give you either no reception or very poor reception when viewing Freeview Channels.

Have to agree, Def like a samsung
operating system:
Not ApplicableReading the review posted earlier, I have to agree the picture quality is really good. I actually think it looks better than the Samsung tv's, I have a 32" Samsung tv series 4 in my room and this picture def looks better on this.
I tried mine with my HDMI upscaler and the picture quality is second to none. Also I have to comment on the sound. The Samsung Tv I have vibrates when you turn it up and there seems to be no difference from 50% Volume to 100%. This new TV is alot better and goes pretty loud, could def upset the neighbours with this.
I also connected this up to my PS3 and it does say its running 1080P which I thought it had to be full hd to do this but it def runs at that.
All in all I am well pleased with this TV. Thinking of getting a new 32" one when they come into stock.
5 Stars all the way for me... :o)
Surprisingly Good Value
operating system:
Not ApplicableI took delivery of this TV yesterday (2 days from ordering, which was nice) and I'm surprised by the quality and features on what is a lower priced alternative to the Samsung.
It worked straight out of the box, despite me using an internal aerial. It managed to find virtually all the stations (analogue and digital) but we've decided to get an aerial point in the room where we've put it, just to maximise the signal.
Standard (digital) picture quality is excellent and the DVD picture quality, even using the Scart because I need to get an HDMI lead, blew me away!
In fact the DVD, mine upscales, took a standard DVD and made it 100% clearer. I noticed animated movies (The Incredibles, Shrek 2 etc.) which have been made in 24p, were amazing. "Normal" movies (I just had to try Saving Private Ryan) look crisp and sharp and the colours didn't bleed at all.
I was concerned that 1080p wasn't shown in the specs on EBuyer but the included manual (see below) indicates 1080p is achievable.
Sound very good too, with no distortion at high levels. The mock surround is nice, expecially on movies. It's worth pointing out that there are many settings on picture and sound to maximise your viewing pleasure.
The inputs are amazing, with Scart, HDMI, composite and VGA being the main ones. And although you can select which input you need, the TV recognises when you have put a DVD in and it switches over automatically.
The only downsides are:
* Minimal instructions but a manual does come on a CD, so using all the gadgets on the TV can be found on this.
* If you're going to wall-mount this TV there are no instructions as to how to remove the stand attached. It turns out you just have to remove the 4 screws at the top of the base and it slides out easily. Only a minor point and not an issue to those that want to use the stand provided (which tilts to a nice angle too).
All in all there is nothing to complain about on this TV and with the deal on at EBuyer it makes a great buy.

Great Value for Money
operating system:
Windows VistaI have been looking for a TV for a while and this is probably the cheapest 22" HD ready tv around in the market. I was bit worried about picture quality but to be honest I was really impressed when I turned on the tv.
Set up is child's play.
Video quality is brilliant 10/10.
Audio quality is ok but not as good as video 7/10.
Only thing that is bit of a let down is the freeview. I could only get as many as 8 channels and few of them are not clear. But this could only be me as I dont get good network on my phone at home.
Overall it is highly recommended for anyone who is looking for a decent cheap TV.
Looks Great
operating system:
Not ApplicableI pre-ordered my new Foehn and Hirsch TV about two weeks ago and mine arrived this morning, i have to say it looks great, strangely resembles the samsung tvs.
Picture quality 9/10
HD Picture Quality 10/10
Sound Quality 9/10
Menu System 9/10
Electronic Guide 9/10
Gaming (PS3 tested) 10/10 def runs 1080p signal)
Overall I would give this 9/10.. would give it 10/10 but i dont think anything can be 10/10.
Def Recommend this TV..
Impressive LCD
operating system:
Not ApplicableNever heard of Foehn and Hirsch but have to say its a great little TV.
Love the glossy finish, The picture and sound is really impressive for such a small tv.
Something wrong with the reviews
operating system:
Not ApplicableThink there's some issue at ebuyer with the reviews. Have noticed that the reviews all say by Anonymous. I wrote the review 'Have to agree, Def like a samsung' and I put my name on and it says by anonymous.. think you need to sort this
Nice looking TV..
operating system:
Not ApplicableBought two of these for my kids bedrooms, price was good and they looked pretty good in the picture.
The two LCD's arrive the day after which is very quick service, didn't order them until 6:30pm previous day.
Opened the first one and was well impressed with the look of it and the quality. Set this one up in the daughters room and the picture, sound everything was fantastic.
Opened the second one up and set it up in my sons room. When tuned the channels in and all was ok then all of a sudden the picture started going funny. I called ebuyer up and one of there technical people walked me through a few troubleshooting steps and low and behold it was my dodgy internal aerial. Ebuyer have said to make sure you don't get any issues it is better to use an external aerial.
So I would give these two tvs 10/10.. and also 10/10 for the support from ebuyer. makes a change to have good service from an online site..
Good Buy
operating system:
Not ApplicableI'm not an ebuyer employee and purchased 2 of these tv's. They work perfectly and the inbuilt freeview tuner worked brilliantly. My son has the second and is really impressed with the hdmi connection from his ps3
Great Buy.
Looking great!
operating system:
Not ApplicableI bought this on the back of the reviews here, and had been considering the Samsung equivelent.
I think this TV looks great. The picture quility on digital is near perfect. The sound is almost as good as what you'd get from a CRT TV.
Height of Unit
Can someone confirm the height of this out of the box but on the stand. Spec says 510mm but this seems very high for a 22" Screen.
Many Thanks
Steve
