I bought this mic for voice comms in online games, and that was one of the comments I received when I tried it out.

Really clear sound, plug n play works perfectly, and it looks very cool too.

From what I can gather, it takes the microphone settings from your soundcard control panel, so you can adjust the voice record volume in the same way as an analogue mic.

Use with Pinnacle 9

Bought for use with Pinnacle 9. Having adjusted the settings (as per the instruction manual) and figured out how to change the settings in Pinnacle to recognise a USB device, it works just fine. For £13 + VAT, nice solid microphone which does the business for voice-overs on videos.

Logitec Mic

This is a very good mic. I use it with voice recognicion, teamspeak2 and skype and they all work fine. The one downside is that if you have an old computer, the digital format needs a little processing from the CPU.
This Mic is very good and rivals most headsets.
Get one, you won't be disappointed.

What a difference from analogue. I'm all for greate sound quality and this is it. USB mic it doesnt convert to analogue and so theres a bonus. The quality is crystal clear and works well with MSN Live 8 plus 7.5 & below skype old and new plus the voice recognition is faultless. Get one. They're worth it (unlike the hair stuff :P)

This is a brilliant mic! If you have any doubts get one. It's clear, reasonably small and looks good! Completely plug and play, set it up in about 30 secs, no hassle.

Good for voice recognition

I have two of these mic's and both work very well. It is a bit disconcerting to get an usb device supplied without drivers included but they installed on both a XP and a 98SE machine without problems.

The audio quality has been more than adequate for voice recognition - they perform better than the headset supplied with Dragon Natuarally Speaking connected via a Sound Blaster Live sound card on my desk top and far better when used on my portable (the mic input is rubbish on my Toshiba and the in built mic is virtually unusable for voice recognition).

It's also nice not to have to wear a head set when talking - the distance the mic has to be away seems fairly non critical.

For the money they are a good buy. Having said all of the above there are better mic's for voice recognition out there if you are happy spending £30 to £40
