Great Luxury Keyboard
operating system:Windows 7The price of this lovely keyboard will undoubtedly put quite a few potential buyers off, so let me start by saying that I've found the keyboard worthy of the price tag! OK if you just use your PC for typing and browsing the internet it's a bit much, but if you're a gamer or power user you'll love it.
I had a G15 before (the old style one, with 18 G-keys - that was too many really) and this is a decent upgrade. The keypresses are softer than a standard clacky-clacky keyboard but not as soft as a laptop. Physically the keys feel very smooth and soft under your fingers, not sticky or slippery. Being able to change the colour of the backlighting is a nice touch. The keyboard looks classy on any desk and isn't too much larger than a normal keyboard - if you have a small workspace then measure it before buying. The keyboard comes with a large wrist rest that attaches to the front. The USB ports are useful for your phone/iPod and things that you don't need plugged in all the time. The media control keys and volume control on the board are a nice feature.
If I had to pick a downside to this board, I'd say it's the fact that it needs a mains power socket. (Logitech aren't keen on including this in their advertising!) You get a power cable with plug in the box, so you don't have to buy anything extra, but bear in mind that the keyboard won't work at all without being plugged in to the mains so make sure you have a spare socket.
The screen is great, a full colour, high-res screen that comes with lots of apps built in - clock, CPU monitor, RSS Reader, YouTube browser - and you can download apps for your webcam, to view videos and pictures, and more. The Logitech software has lots of games included already so the screen can show your stats and Whispers in WoW, your ammo/health in FEAR 2 and many more.
Overall this is a good buy if you're feeling rich, want a blinged-out rig or just want a really nice keyboard.
sweet lush sexy
operating system:Windows Vistagot my g19 this morning and after comeing from the g15 i was shocked by the fact the g19 is the same size and better looking, nice sleek curves and the display is a nice size and the way it folds on its bar it doesent look stupid, it looks a top peice of kit! i found the keys themselfs to be much more comfy to type with and alot more responsive than the g15, was also nice to see the console where u change backlight colours actully change as a preview unlike the g13 pad which u have to apply before it shows and im very glad logitech sorted that issue out as it was a pain, i love the g19 keyboard, ok its exspensive but when u use it u wont regret it, i do have one issue though and that is the lack of apps for the lcd screen, ok u got the normal ones clock, perfomance, xfire etc, the youtube vids is a nice touch but why does it support vent and not teamspeak? talk about bittin the hand that feeds you! but as im sure apps will follow i wont complain to much about that, nice to see 12 g keys...
like i say great board and really looks the bees knees 9/10 from me ;)
Quality Keyboard
operating system:Windows XPI decided to go for this keyboard to replace the Logitech Classic 200. This was done on recommendation from fellow gamers who have used the G11 and G15 and some now have the G19 also. It is a big keyboard with more functions available then you may ever need.
One of the reason I wanted this was due to the media keys and also the LCD screen was a big winner. It is clear and has a standard selection of functions. Hopefully more shall be released in the coming months.
I love the fact that it two full speed 2.0 USB ports on it and has the cable management underneath so you can keep your desk all tidy.
Excellent product. Well done again Logitech.

operating system:Windows Vistaarrived this morning and what can I say.
the screen is so much better than I thought. Can even stream video from my server. media controls work with iTunes, which is great and makes a change.
rss feed, clock, stopwatch, movie player, picture viewer, youtube player, cpu dials, pop3 monitor.
macro keys are easy to use, comes with software to program it easy (bit like with logitech mice), the interface rocks too. obviously aimed at those of us who appreciate that kinda stuff :-)
finally, you can choose ANY colour of lighting for the keys. as in any shade etc. White isnt all that great and you cant alter the colour of the "menu" pad for the lcd screen or the numlock or caps lock lights.
the rest is not padded but who cares
overall, I am so glad I splashed out on this. great price ebuyer and delivered on time as usual.
go for it - you WON'T be disappointed
