Very Nice Case
operating system:Windows 7I just bought one of these along with 4x120mm fans and a 140mm in LED blue, snap in harddrive side slotted and snap cd/dvd roms plenty of room its even got the holes for water cooling and bottom slot for the psu...excellent value for money and not too in your face....nice work ebuyer....luv it ;-)
Mr G Breslin
operating system:Windows 7You simply can not beat this case in this price range. Very tidy and well built. I have now built a few budget based pc's and I could not believe how nice this case is. Having the front audio and USB in the middle leaves no problem reaching the audio plug on the motherboards which has effected many budget pc's I built before.
The case comes with enough of the plastic fittings for several hdd and 3.5mm drives. Found the sideway fitting of the hdd very nice leaving the connections hidden on the right side of the case for a wire tidy case.
No sharp edges that plagues budget cases along with very nice thumbscrews to use for the side panels.
Just order 3 120mm fans and a 140mm for the top vent and you have a great little budget air cooled gaming case for yourself.
Very nice case for the price, shame about the LED
operating system:Windows 7After under 24 hour delivery (nice work, ebuyer.) to my remote isle, I opened this case up, and discovered the lime green things which are bound to confuse you. A quick trip to Casecom's website to look at their case structures explained that the long ones are for HDD and the ones with the thumbscrews are to hold CD/DVD drives in place. Awesome.
Fitting the motherboard in was fairly easy, though it's best not to push too hard on the right hand side as it's not nearly as well supported there as you might like, put a hand underneath to help that. The back panel for putting wires behind is fairly useful, though it does take some thinking about how you're going to wire things (for instance, wiring to an 8pin ATX through the back panel required me to unscrew the motherboard so I could actually manage it. Not a fault of the case, simply a case of not having child sized hands and a periscope.) if you want to end up with a tidy case.
PSU at the bottom is brilliant, getting the front and back covers off is easy, and two of them are wire gauze that you can replace on the back cover. Always a good thing.
My singular complaint about this (apart from the fact I scratched my head for a good 10 minutes before resorting to Google. Include a few pictures, would you ebuyer?) is that the blue LED at the front does my eyes in. I'll have to work out how to turn them off, as I really can't stand them.
Oh, the optimal fan arrangement for this case is extractors at the top and back and intake at the front and side. It's running a cool 21C system on my set up (Phenom X6, 4GB RAM, GTX 460 1GB) at idle, so I'd definitely say it's good for a reasonably priced but easily cooled rig.
Now, to see about that LED...
Nice case, but be careful
operating system:Windows 7The first thing that hit me when I opened the box was that it actually looks a lot better in real life than it does in the photos.
Setting it all up was easy, even despite having never used toolless fittings before, I found them really easy to figure out. There are holes around the Motherboard that you can use to put all your wires behind the motherboard tray, and out of the way of all the fans etc. there are also a load of notches you can use to tie your cables to if you want.
I was loving the way my case was looking with all the wires hidden away, and it was all going so well until I discovered that with the Power Supply at the bottom of the case, the 4-pin ATX power cable wouldn't reach the socket on my motherboard. I solved this problem by mounting the PSU upside down (there are screw holes for this already cut into the case). This solved the problem, but now the PSU fan is blowing hot air into the case, and now I can't feed some of the other cables around the back either because the orientation is wrong.
Other than that, everything's fine, the fan supplied is surprisingly quiet, and it's LEDs glow through the mesh at the front.
I'd recommend this case, but I would advise you make sure your power cables will reach with the PSU at the bottom before buying.
