got this from ebuyer at £105 (notice slight price hike now).

what more can you ask for 2GB DDRII at such a low price. Kingston's warranty is also a great thing to have as well.

If you want no frills, performance PC, Get THIS RAM NOW!

Micron Chips!
review by: Chris Beard rating:

Great RAM, mine came with Micron Chips a quick google search of the number showed they reached 450Mhz (900Mhz effective) when overclocked on stock volts.

For those of you that read the above and tuned out this is good stable RAM at a fantastic price (I got it for just less than £83). Kingston is a reputable brand and I would reccomend buying this rather than unbranded stuff as RAM is one of those components you really don't want to go wrong...

How cheap can memory get?
review by: Anonymous rating:
customer rating
operating system: Windows XP

Bought when at £55.90, with £10 off via Google checkout. 2GB is the min RAM for good performance in Vista, and is ideal for keeping an XP machine going until the updates stop. For most users of those operating systems this is a great value long term purchase.

Faster RAM actually produes proportionally small benefits: double speed RAM gives a system boost of 20%. So paying double for high premium memory is worth it for very few users.

My one gripe is that the pack it comes in is very cheap and quite weak.

Good stuff & Excellent price
review by: Anonymous rating:

Had this for a new WinXP PC and I have to say, cheapest big brand stuff you can get. Works without any issue, survived the first 24h on the trot 'burn in' test without a glitch. At £84.91 an absolute steal, will watch it now to upgrade to 4GB when price goes south again.

Put it into a ASRock CONROEXFIRE-ESATA2 with an Intel Core 2 Duo E4300 to get a decent mid-price system, works like a treat

Can you go wrong at this price?
review by: Dave rating:

So far this RAM is proving to be reliable and worth way more than the price I paid.

Why buy non-branded stuff when you can get this stuff with a life-time warranty for less than £50 for 2GB?

Recommended!

Good for Dell
review by: Mart rating:
customer rating
operating system: Windows Vista

I have have just added a further 2 gyg of this memory to my Dell Inspiron 530 to bring it up to 4 gyg, and it works fine. Much cheaper than Dell prices or even Kingston memory specified for the Dell, and it's still the same quality.

Only thing is that the Dell now reports 3,31 gyg of memory, but then on 32 bit Windows, you are never going to see the full 4 gyg.

I can also recommend the 4 gyg Kingston Datatravelor flash drive for Vista Readyboost.

well i bought this ram from some where else but gonna review here this ram is just amazing for price and its actually dropped in price by 30quid since i bought it so i will be buying another 2 gb very soon. i overclocked the ram to about 900mhz which was fairly stable i have an asus m2n32 sli deluxe and an amd 4000+x2 @ 2.85ghz well worh it see big improvements in vista aswell speed wise any way and i got a raiting of 5.9 for memory speed i was amazed considering this is value ram and got it running higher than ddr2-6400 and the overclock was without any voltage mods to the memory so i was rather impressed but when i do increase the voltage its even more stable but well woth the but any questions just ask.
