Better than average and takes full ATX mobo
operating system:LinuxDescribed as MATX but clever engineering, takes full ATX. The PSU has been moved out of the traditional slot, allowing smaller overall case for full size board. About time they broke the mould! Nice finish throughout sets it well above budget brand casecom. Wouldn't recommend standing a monitor on top though, no support struts inside and metal sheets not exactly up to Air Raid Shelter thickness. But the best you can expect for under thirty quid.
how to open
just incase anyone is put off this case from previous reports regarding how to open it, its actually a piece of cake. just use a small flat ended screwdriver and run it down the length of the front case turning slightly to prize open. no damage or broken clips at all. the guides for the dvd roms confused me a little but as said earlier you just use the bottom left and right sides of the dvd drive and they just clip into place, note that the guides have very faint 'r' and 'l' stanped in them so looking at the front of the dvd drive to tell left from right with the angled part of the clip to the front, once clipped in then just slide the dvd drive into place, hey presto and one nice easy to use case
Fantastic case
Case is excellent, it has a fantastic shiney black finish. There is the issue of removing the front carefully when installing the DVD drive. Power supply has plenty connector and the mainboard power is via a 24 pin connector and NOT 20 pin but you can slide out 4 pins to make is 20pins (it a feature). The problem I had was the power connector on my board was near the rear connectors of the motherboard and the power supply cable reached but is stretched across the motherboard and only just reached (its about 12-14 inches). Otherwise and excellent case. I would use this case again, quality is good.
Well worth the money - but buy plasters!
operating system:Not ApplicableThe fascia is tough to get off, gashed my fingers bad the third time I took it off. Helps if you squeeze the lugs from the back as you pull from the front.
Lots of screws supplied, along with a power lead and some worthless intructions the size of a business card.
You get two sets of rails that you clip onto your 5.25 drives and slot in through the front, and a set of optional raised feet that improve airflow through the vents in the bottom of the case.
The installed 60mm fan has a 4 pin connection, and as described you can add another 60mm fan. What's not mentioned is that you can also add two 80mm fans, one over the CPU and one over the PSU.
Case looks good for minimalists like me, just one red LED and evrything else behind doors.
