Watching movies on PC is as good as on Top-of-the-line consumer television.
Using the unique ASUS DirectCU II Cooler the airflow is doubled and the noise level is greatly reduced by using flattened copper heat pipes which directly contact the GPU core to speed up heat dissipation for a 20%* cooler performance compared to reference. Keeping the card temperatures low also results in quieter operations thanks to reduced fan speeds!
The card also boasts Super Alloy Power which can create a 15% performance increase, 2.5 longer product life span and a 35ËšC cooler operation. In addition to this, the engine clock runs at a Pre Overclocked 830MHz, allowing users to enjoy high speed and an unprecedented gaming experience. Super Alloy Power is a special blend of elements formed using an ASUS exclusive formula, under extreme pressure and temperatures. Best card out for £200
operating system:Windows 7On idle the card sits at about 26-31 degrees centigrade in my machine and on full load the card gets to around the 60's. I can't get over how quiet this graphics card is! normally small fans make tons of noise and I was worried the the two 80mm fans would drive me insane but they are practically silent on idle. On the underside of the card on the PCB there are two LED's that light up green, one to represent each PCI-E 6 pin power input, I guess they turn red if the cable is not giving enough juice so make sure you PSU is up to the job. Overall the card was very simple to install, DO NOT USE THE DRIVERS FROM THE CD, DO NOT USE THE DRIVERS FROM WINDOWS UPDATE, make sure you download the latest driver straight from NVidia's website. I had one issue though, the card would not work with World Of Warcraft because its not a supported card, it was all glitchy and jumpy, but if you disable the ASD it fixes this issue (the ASD is the Asus Smart Doctor which you can just remove in all add/remove programs) Plays EVE Online on maxed out settings and I get about 50fps, runs Crisis on medium and Mass Affect 2 pretty much maxed out. All in all I would say its an awesome card for £200 but I think I might run two in SLI.
Excellent card
operating system:Windows 7Apart from next day delivery taking 4 days to get the card to me everything is good so far with the card. I replaced my 8800GT and finally can play Shogun 2 without comedy size armies, job done. Oh, and it runs at 55c after 3 hours playing on high settings.
Asus GTX 560Ti - amazing!!!
operating system:Windows 7Seriously powerful graphics card. It runs GTA4 maxed out and doesn't even flinch and that's on a 24" widescreen LCD @ 1920x1080 resolution.
It is smaller than some other nVidia cards. It's about 1 inch shorter than my old nVidia 9800GTX+, which is a bonus. The dual fans keep it very cool, but I'm no physicist so I won't comment on ASUS' claims about the metals/alloys used in the revolutionary heatsink design.
I like it so much I'm buying another identical card to run in SLI mode on my Rampage III Extreme board.
Gotta love Ebuyer. Thanks a lot guys & girls.
Delivery Perfect.
I'll install the card and drivers this weekend, where I will be able to provide a performance review.
I order this a week ago, it arrived on time, within the 5 days that it stated. It was in very good packing, place that at how much packing was done. So excellent stuff there ebuyer.
As for the actual card, guys it actually is smaller than pictures make it look. It's not that big, well that's my impression. I'm just going to wait on my hard drive to arrive and then i'll set everything up.
So first thoughts are good looking card, excellent service and packing by ebuyer.
